Midtown is a nice club but ....

Midtown Athletic Club is pretty good overall if you don't mind the monthly cost. Its spacious, clean and hardly ever crowded. This club is more of a tennis/racquetball/basketball/social club than a weight-training facility. So, if you're looking for a serious ""gym"", this may not be for you. On the other hand, this place definitely has a good atmosphere and pleasant members (a very small percentage of the rift-r... view more

Can you say...WOW!!

This facility provides a rebuttal for every excuse any person could make in regards to procrastinating with their body's overall health wellness! What do you like Swimming? Got it, indoor and outdoor...Tennis? Got it, indoor and outdoor...Raquetball, Got it! Personal Training? Got it! In addition, there is this new sport that I just learned of called Squash, similar to raquetball, an amazing sport! Like attending gro... view more

The best club in the area by far....

This club is not only the biggest and nicest, but has every kind of class and type of equipment any male or female could hope for. The outdoor and indoor facilities include rockwall, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, squash, swimming, and more. There are trainers and Pro's walking around everywhere and you can get sessions with them any day of the week. If you want to work out, drink, eat great food and have a soc... view more

Simple the best members only health club in Atlanta

This is the most wonderful club in the city to be a member of. All the staff are polite and attentive with a ""what ever I can do to make your visit better"" attitude.\r The club is spotless, the members friendly and social.\r Midtown is a very easy place to feel at home at and there is always something new to do it really is so much more than a Tennis club, ( I don't even play !)\r Where Gold's,24hr and lifetime... view more

Excellent tailored programs

I don't generally take the time to post on these; but this deserves mention. \r \r I began playing tennis here; and in an effort to dramatically improve my tennis game, I started personal training. Now with a personal trainer and a tennis coach working together to improve the weaknesses in my game and tailor my fitness program to work specific areas, my game continues to improve exponentially. They even coordin... view more

This fitness club is incredible, really. State of the Art.

So I didn't know fitness clubs like this existed in Atlanta, but I actually found Midtown Athletic Club online and went for a free week trial and just joined last week. Since I found them online, I felt compelled to spread the word online if other people were new to Atlanta and searching for a new gym like I was.\r This place is freakin' awesome. I'm talking indoor/outdoor tennis, indoor/outdoor pool, basketball, sq... view more

WOW!

The club is huge and has sooo much to offer!! I recently joined and this is the nicest gym that I have ever been a member. There is a large weight room with many options for machines and free weights and smaller area on the third floor (yes, the THIRD floor!) for those who get intimidated by the weight room crowd. Lots of cardio options and no waits like the over crowded Y. There is also basketball, raquetball, ... view more

Best club in town!

Much more than a gym! This club is worth every extra dollar over the local gyms- you can do it all here-clean-friendly members and staff-open and airy setting with no waits on anything (this club is huge)! Nice to be able to get in and out on my terms, not other members terms. I highly reccommend this ""community within a community"" to all for exercise-fun-tennis-social events and lunch or dinner in the cafe! It's a... view more

Good facilities, bad management

This gym has great equipment (hundreds of cardio), good classes, a large locker room (team, whirlpool and sauna), indoor and outdoor pools, racquetball, tennis, basketball, squash. It also has towel service, massages, trainers, etc etc the works.\r \r But you pay. I paid $110/month for a single person's membership with one year contract. In addition, they constantly nickel and dime you- $5 for lost badge ($.25 piec... view more
