The food is great but I think they should give you more for the money . The amount of food compares to a kids meal with an adult price. I actually stop eating chinese food due to all of the talk about whats used as meat but PF Chang's is the best.
My girlfriend and I went to PF Chang's today for the first time and the host was friendly and the waitress that we had she was on point and and there drink' s are like woo woo and they had this martaini that was on point oh my and im very hard to please when it come down to my drinks but this place here is off the chain if you looking for good quality food and great service this is the place to go and dont forget the great wait staff that they have but the girl we had she was alway' s checking on us you go but we will be back to see them .
We just ordered out from PF Changs with Mongolian Beef, cashew chicken soup etc. When we pulled the food out of the bag we both commented on how small the portions were. The food tasted very processed with poor flavor. Large chunks of uncooked garlic were in the beef dish. After a few bites we actually threw away our dinner, and called in Canton Cooks. Ah what a difference. There are so many good chinese restaurants in the dunwoody/sandy spring area. I would not recommend PF Changs
Attitude of host staff made whole dinner distasteful and tacky!
What an awful experience had, after years of top-notch service and food. We had reservations at 730PM, got there at 725PM and were told (by this fruit cake host with a tattoo on his neck), ""What, five more minutes..."" We said, ""Great"" and happily took a seat. After ignoring us for 15m and seating all his ""friends"" we got up and asked again, ""Can we be seated?"" He said, ""Five more...five more!"" So- after seating 5 of his homies we went up and asked what was going on. He barked back at us and yelled out to ""seat these people now!!!"" I was steaming when I sat down and asked to speak with management...guy came over to us and gave us the song-and-dance crap...Turns out, he wasn't even the manager, just the host's friend. What a joke, food was bad, service awful and sad to say, turning into a place I would not take a family. It was not clean and the bathroom had wood/mold damage from standing water in the stalls. Gross....not worth the drive up there...absolutely preferential treatment. DO NOT TAKE CORPORATE GUESTS THERE! \r
Don't let your kids go to bathroom, wow. don't call ahead and make reservations, it makes no difference.
Try lettuce wrap and wonton soup as starters. I recommend Double Pan Fried Noodles as main dish. Then, I finish with their "Great Wall" cake. I know this is a franchise restaurant, but I don't care. I love eating here! Avoid Friday night.
What a beautifully designed restaurant, my guest and I decided to sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air?well, it began to rain so we had to go inside the restaurant. I ordered something simple cashew chicken, it was flavorless, bland, uneventful. Of course, this gave me a good reason to try the dessert---Banana Spring Roll (You heard me?) The Banana Spring Rolls dessert features six warm bites of banana wrapped in crisp spring rolls, placed around coconut-pineapple ice cream, and drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces.
PF Changs has dropped in ratings in its food and service. It has turned into one of those mall chains that are great once in a year. The food is too sweet and dunked in sauce so that you cannot taste anything else but the sauce. The service is good and the ambience is average.
A insult to all chinese speaking people and restaurants..all the servers are not even chinese(or asian)..They are all americans..even africans..and i bet the cooks aren't even chinese(or asians) either.. how can u serve any decent chinese food without Any asian or chinese speaking servers with any knowlege of chinese cusine, culture and history..\r
and of course they can't even pronounce the items on the menu the right way..and they call themselves a chinese restaurant?? it is truly INSULTING!!!!!!!!!!
