Nicely decorated, stay away from Emily - she does not know how to cut hair or do color yet tries both. She smells of cigarettes. Cut my hair crooked and color looked brassy, worse than if I'd bought a box of color from walmart and did it myself. Don't know about other stylists there, but definitely avoid Emily. Manager conveniently wasn't there and everyone in there said it looked great - Emperor's New clothes anyone? Last time I checked I'm the customer, it's my hair, and my opinion is what matters. Very expensive too. A con job.

I went to see Franklin last week for a last minute cut and color. My first time ever visiting MINT for hair and I would send any of my best girlfriends to him! My color looks fabulous and he knows the tricks to make your hair look shiney and healthy! I will be back for sure!

What a surpise to find this little gem right in the middle of mid-town. I tried this salon because my regular salon had rescheduled me twice and my hair couldn't wait. When I arrived, I was greeted and offered refreshments. Then Bobby, the stylist, came over and talked about what I wanted done. I told him the color I wanted and the cut. (my previous stylist had conviced me that this was "my look") Bobby said he loved the idea for the cut, but suggested we go a step lighter on the color. So I said ok. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Not only does the new color really bring out my skin tone, but he slightly tweeked the style to fit my facial structure better. I will go back again and again!
