We visited the restaurant for lunch, a group of 4 co-workers. The food came out poorly cooked I had a cold tasteless chicken, my co-worker had a wrap that had no flavor whatsoever. The wait staff disappeared for most of the meal and service was extremely slow. The restaurant looks worn out as well. The restaurant sits in the perimeter area close to 4-5 other good restaurants and folks usually walk in expecting the same quality. I can't think of anything positive to say about it. Will definitely stay away.

After visiting Mimi's Cafe in Valencia, CA and Ventura, CA & having GREAT experiences, my daughter decided to go for her 20th birthday. Our hostess and food experience before were exceptional and memorable. This visit, however, was historically disappointing for all 7 people in our party. We contemplated leaving and just giving a tip for the o.k. service because the food was exceptionally horrible and near un-edible, namely the seafood pasta which tasted of mayonaisse, the Chibotta chicken sandwich had hard, stale bread, the chicken on the Thai wrap was unseasoned and the rice overcooked. The Jambalaya had zero shrimp which had to be requested and a really unpleasant fruit smoothy was brought to the table at the end of our meal! We literally threw nearly $150 away and are so very disappointed. Times are really hard and we saved and budgeted to give our daughter this experience and were highly disappointed.

Grabbed lunch to go from here. The Reuben was tasty and really big. I couldn't finish it, so had it for lunch the next day too. The kettle chips were crips and fresh. Good spot for working lunch or taking a break from shopping.

Giving the service at this location lately and even giving it one star is a stretch. After a couple years eating here, the deterioration in service and the non-concern of management is quite obvious. We had to flag the waiter down to take our order after his ignoring us several times as he walked by. The food took forever to get to us and was brought by a different person. The iced tea arrived towards the end of the meal with no apology or offer to comp it from the server who was completely clueless. He failed to box up our muffins as we asked him to do at the outset. After returning to get them after leaving the restaurant, talked to the manager on duty who could have cared less. Still no offer to at least comp the tea. I'm scratching this place from my list...too many other places to choose from.

Our waitress was awful! It took someone 5 min. to come over to our table in the first place and then she forgot to bring my soup before the meal. Then, we were still eating our meal, not even half way done she said, ok, what do you want for dessert? We felt very rushed and the portions were way to small. Esp. the chicken noodle soup. It should have been called broth soup because there was nothing in it! I'm definitely not coming back!!

We were seated quickly. It took 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. Then another 15 before our food showed up. The serving sizes were large but the food was cold. Our waitress seemed to be the manager running the store and only visited our table once. It took awhile to get refills and our check. The breakfast menu was also not very big and missing common things such as biscuts and gravy and cinnamon rolls. We would not eat here again. The food was below average and we could have had a cheaper better breakfast at McDonald's.

What wrong can be said of this place. Firstly the food is DELICIOUS! I absolutely loved everything- the muffins, the pancakes, the crabmeat omlett, everything! It is absolutely a wonderful delight over in the perimiter area. The staff was extremely friendly, everyone from the servers to the manager. The food portions are beyond generous so you are really getting more for your doller! I would reccomend this place to anyone who wants some good, quality food. But don't plan on being too physical afterwards because this is the type of the food that sticks to your gut! Find a bed and pass out happy!
I took my mom to Mimi's for her 85th birthday. The service was outstanding and the menu was great. It's got something for everybody. Breakfast is served all day --try the pumpkin pancakes with spiced apple topping. Plus you can get beautiful salads, burgers, sandwiches and pasta dishes. The staff bend over backwards to make your experience a good one. I could go there everyday and I don't care for eating out much. Highly recommended!
