    Great Job!

    Provided by

really like Food 101 but I just feel that their menu is somewhat limited. To be honest I am a very picky eater though so that might have something to do with it. Other than that I think they are great!

    Customer Service - Thumbs Down

    Provided by

I wish I could say that I had the opportunity to go in and try the farm to table concept going on at Food 101. I was given a couple of gift cards by my sister and did not realize they had an expiration until I went to make a reservation. I called and asked if I could get at least a portion of them honored, since they did cost money. I was given a harsh and flat out no. From a customer service perspective, this is a terrible way to do business. They essentially just took the money and ran! Too many places to grab a bite in the metro area to treat potential customers with such poor service.

This is why I keep going back

    Provided by

I hadn't been to Food 101 in a while, but I had a craving for those tuna tostadas and went over there for dinner. The tuna, I think one of the best appetizers in Atlanta, we spot on. Then I had this amazing duck breast. Then, the bannana/white chocolate bread pudding! It was so good that I went past my full stomach to finish it. Not to mention the awesome Pinot Noir that the server recommended that complimented everything I was going for. This place is great, and I will start going more frequently now because you really miss that kind of quality.

Worst Sunday Lunch in a while

    Provided by

You know it's not going well if your first order, a drink, takes 15 minutes to arrive , if a burger takes 45 minutes, an ice tea 15 minutes plus a reminder and an assigned waiter who would be better at servicing machinery than customers.\r \r If at least the food was great, but it is average at best, small crabcakes with mayo (not remoulade as per menu), hastily heated spinach, partly burned, poached eggs hard inside and served with dry toast without butter (""we always serve toast without butter"").\r \r Yes, the service was incredibly SLOW and INCOMPETENT. May others enjoy it - not the gourmand!\r

Best Dining Experience in a Long Time

    Provided by

I have been meaning to get to this restaurant for a while and just dined there this weekend with my husband. It was by far the best meal I've had in Atlanta in a LONG time! I loved everything ... the service was incredible and the food was unbelievable. I had the Tuna Tostada and the Pumpkin Ravioli and my husband ordered the Pork Belly Appetizer and the Short Ribs and he virtually licked his plate! I will not wait so long to visit again!

    New Menu is Wonderful

    Provided by

My husband and I are regular diners but were pleasantly surprised when we started looking over the ""New Fall Menu"". Everything sounded so good, we couldnt decide! We opted to try a little of everything, starting with a beautiful cheese and meat board. The entire experience was amazing! The service was outstanding from start to finish. \r Food 101 definitely knows how to keep their customers happy and never bored! \r Thanks for the GREAT evening!!

Exceptional food at a reasonable cost

    Provided by

Food 101 is one of the top restaurants in my list. The food that they served really made want more. They gave my favorite Pasta/Seafood special a twist which I really loved. The wait staff is courteous. This is definitely a must try.

    Loved, Loved, Loved It

    Provided by

My wife and I were just driving by and decided to stop and try Food 101. We had never heard anything about it or been there before. We have to tell you that we loved the atmosphere, and the food was sensational and very reasonably priced. The menu has many interesting and unique entrees. Nothing far out, and all of them sound delicious. The Cauliflower soup was great. My wife got the Shrimp and Grits and I got the Pasta/Seafood special, and they were both superb. Our waiter, Chris was fantastic and the whole staff were friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definately be going back.

    What a FABULOUS place!

    Provided by

This restaurant is AMAZING! One of the best dining experiences that I've had in Atlanta in a long time. The service is 'on point'. Our server, Pam, was attentive and professional. The chef, Jordan, came to our table to greet us. BTW, he's quite handsome(o: I couldn't believe the quantity and the quality of the food for the price. How the heck can they afford to serve food that is grown locally, free of hormones and additives?! I don't know. Food 101 is a shining example of what a patrons expectation should be when dining out. SALUTE.....

    Thank you!

    Provided by

Thank you Food 101 for a FANTASTIC dinner! The service was perfect and the Dirty martini was spot on! It was great addition to my Trout! I have never seen this before but, Food 101 offers chocolate covered bacon for dessert; it is the perfect combination of sweet and salty - everyone should try it! Thank you again for such a wonderful dining experience!

I had my birthday dinner at Food 101 last night! The food was fantastic! I started with the Ahi Tuna, Oysters and Shrimp - perfect. Our table had the Kobe Burritto, Ravioli and Trout for entrees and it was all delicous! If you save room - try the chocolate covered bacon, yummy. Food 101 is a must visit!

Best food for the price, Period!

    Provided by

I feel like I'm at Food 101 every day. I've tried just about everything on the menu and my taste buds have never been let down. The Kobe Beef Burrito is to die for. My recipe for a perfect dinner is as follows;\r 1. Choose a wine.(You can't go wrong)\r 2. 2 words: Tuna Tostadas.\r 3. Remember your greens, I recommend the Arugala Salad.\r 4. Pick an entree. Fried Chicken, Kobe Burrito(or Kobe Burger), Scallops, Salmon, do you want me to list them all? I can.\r 5. Rub your belly, and say ""Thank You"" to Food 101 for a perfect meal and perfect service.\r 6. You can go home now.\r \r Yes, I'm a fan.

    My favorite Brunch Spot!

    Provided by

I dine at the Sandy Springs location. I love how the interior is designed. I love the warm, friendly staff. The wait staff is impressively knowledgeable about the menu items/daily chef specials. The food is GREAT, and they do not turn their noses up, when you want to make slight changes to the menu items.....hard to find in Atlanta. When I order a half Coke/half Diet Coke, they do not look at me crazy. Again, very accommodating, very warm, family friendly (but not like a McDonald's). It's a tasteful, elegant combination of food & atmosphere that appeals to everyone. \r ***AGAIN-DO NOT MISS THE BRUNCH***

    We Love It!

    Love it

    Provided by

I had been driving past Food 101 for years, and had never been until earlier this year. Now I have gone at least twice a month since then. The food is always amazing. The only problem I have is that I can never decide what I want because EVERYTHING sounds good. \r \r The service was great! She was really fun and made martini suggestions that were awesome. I had wine with dinner, and they have a great wine selection. Half priced on Sundays!! \r \r I highly recommend this place!
