We had a group get together on Cowtipper's patio and had a wonderful time there. The food was quite reasonable, they had good drink specials, the waiter was friendly and attentive, and the space just perfect! And yummy free desserts for the birthday girls!

No half birthday would be complete in our household without a trip to "The Cowboy Place". Great service, excellent food and you can't beat a cupcake with the kids meal for a special occasion.

I love this place, it is always busy, but I understand why. The fishbowl margaritas are no joke, tread lightly. My wait quote was exactly right-on, my steak came out a perfect medium-rare, my server was awesome, dessert was perfect and it was just a great experience overall. I dont see how anyone could not fall in love with this atmosphere... any negative reviews must be from disgruntled employees.

We went to Cowtippers for the first time tonight. It is a very casual place with a warm staff. We were first offered a table near the bar that too loud for the hearing impaired member of our party. The host was happy to find us another table in a quieter section. Once seater, our waiter, Adam was very pleasant and apologized for having to look up some of the drinks on the menu because he had only been on the floor for one week - we would never have known it from his demeanor! We order steak, meatloaf and shrimp for the three of us. A mistake was made and the meatloaf came out as a sandwich instead of a dinner. Even though I had to wait awhile for my meal, both the waiter and the manager were very apologetic and gracious about it. That meal was comp'ed by the manager and it was delicious!
The blueberry lemon drop martini was fabulous as well all of our food. We all agreed that this is one of the best restaurants we have been to since moving to Atlanta a few months ago. Thanks to Cowtippers' staff for giving us a nice evening. We will definitely be back!

This place is over-run by mats minus m plus an r (try to follow). The patio was a breeding ground, so they tore it up and relaid it. Well in doing that, the ""mats"" all moved into the restaurant. You can smell their decaying bodies in the restaurant, particularly near the bar.

I always pass by cow tippers but never had a desire to stop by. A couple of friends mentioned tthat the food was good so I decided to check them out one Friday night. I was prety disappointed with the service. After being seated it took about 10 minutes before the waiter came over to the table after leaving the menu and another 5 minutes before we were served drinks. When we finally recieved our food, we were not given any silverware. We both asked for mayonaise for our burgers and was given one serving (I guess to share) until I brought it to the waiters attention (cleary his mind was somewhere else and not focused on taking care of us). The sad part about it is that it was around 8 pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was not that busy. I had the Turkey burger. It was very delicious a ong with some very delicious steak fries.
