Great neighborhood spot

Fabulous Food, in a Parking Lot?

Though I won't hold the location against them (that's how good the food is), Cafe Lapin could choose a better space. They've dressed it up nicely but still haven't achieved the warm, cottage feel that fits with their menu.\r \r Speaking of their menu, no complaints. Delicious from the cheese appetizer to Opera's favorite chocolate cookie. And BYOB with no corking fee.\r \r Service was excellent, not overbearing but very personable and knows his food. And is very excited about the menu! \r \r Again, I wish they would improve general appearance, including presentation of food. A plastic plate does not do their delicious quiche justice.

good salads and bakery

I visited Cafe Lapin for the first time yesterday for lunch. They offer an array of sandwiches and seem to specialize in various salads-- chicken salad, tuna salad, etc. I got a tuna melt on a baguette with side salad, and they were very good. I also had a chocolate chip cookie for dessert which was also good.

The service was fine, and the decor is cute--little rabbit sugar holders on every table. My only complaint is the prices. They were a little bit on the steep side. I paid just over 10 dollars for a sandwich and salad, and not much on the menu was under 10 dollars. While the food was good, I would have felt better paying 7-8 dollars instead of 10.

Charming Cafe in Buckhead

My wife and I tried cafe lapin last weekend for breakfast and it was absolutely superb. The omelette was light, refreshing and had the most amazing cheese I had ever had in an omelette. The atmosphere is european, quaint and totally charming. The dinner menu looked great and am going back to try it soon.
