Blendz is just perfect and Rochelle is Awesome. From the moment I contacted Rochelle to the end of the service. This salon's ambience is wonderful. I traveled over 147 miles from Birmingham to Atlanta. It was my first time in the salon. I got a free consultation, and then I decided to do a hair weave. The service was great. Thank you so very much Rochelle for the wonderful weave style you gave me. Everyone loves it. I have received so many compliments on my hair.\r It was well worth the trip. I am glad I came. \r \r Thanks \r \r FPL

I visited this salon three times. The first time I scheduled an appt. online for a trim. I left there w/ one side of my hair longer than the other but despite this flaw, I went back to a second appt. That experience was great but the hair style only last for a few days although my hair is naturally curly. The third time I visited this salon for a trim, I paid with my debit card and left the tip section blank. The hairsylist TJ decided to give himself an extra $5 tip for a half-a** $15 over priced trim. To add insult to injury, he left my hair lopsided once again. Meanwhile, he was constantly telling me the entire trim appt. that my hair needed to be washed when my hair was washed the day before the appt. First of all, he is a liar and is in dire need of money or clients or both. Who tells someone their hair needs washing when they washed it the day before their appt. Do I look like boo boo the fool. I can see you are dying for money. That's not my problem. If your prices weren't so darn expensive, you might have gotten more business from me. The audacity of this salon located across the street from the ghetto West End Mall to be charging such expensive services in the hood is really ridiculous. Your blk a** just lost a loyal customer and don't even know it. And here's a tip, buy a Chi flat iron to use on your customers. Cheap fool!

ROCHELLE FRENCH is the best stylist! She did my initial cut and color! She is very professional and knows her job. Its obvious that she loves what she does because it shows in her work! I've seen her do a full sew in and natural hair...it all looks GREAT!! She's also a people person and makes you feel like you're her favorite client each time you go!! No crazy wait time or overbooking....I'm loving it!!\r

I went to Blendz Salon Midtown to get my hair done last fall. The receptionist was nice but the owner of Blendz Salon Midtown has absolutely no professionalism about her whatsoever. She constantly stops working on client's hair to talk on her cell phone and to gossip with friends who stop in the salon to visit with her. She has no appreciation for people's time or the money they spend on getting their hair serviced. I had to wait an hour to get into the stylist's chair, which is unacceptable. The stylist that did my hair did a nice job however, I ended up spending over $100 dollars for a relaxer and trim! That's too much money to spend at the salon considering the fact I had to wait an hour to get into the stylist's chair and spend half the day at the salon. Blendz salon is over priced and overrated and I won't be going back there anytime soon.

Terae is most impersonal. She raked through my hair, charged $60 for a wash and set, and did not even use conditioner! I'm over high-priced salons that do not offer high-end results! Terae is rude, curt, and most of all charges ridiculously high prices for the most old-fashioned hairstyles. Finally, and sarcastically: at least have personality if you plan to rip people off!

Im new in town & was looking for a stylist, i heard about Blendz Salon from some friends so i decided to give it a try. i was serviced by a young lady name Vicie, she had me in her chair in a timely fashion. i recieved a sew in, it didnt take as long as i thought it would. my sew in is beautifull & looks so natural. i also like that while i was in her chair she was informative, telling me how to make my style last & the upkeep of my hair. she shared some information with me about some new projects & ideas that shes working on as well as her custom made wigs. shes an excellent stylist, she banged out some hair cuts & styles while i was there before. thats what i like a stylist moving forward.

I was looking for a salon close to home with a stylist who can really cut. I went online to the Blendz website and found Tiffany and took a chance. I have gotten so many compliments about my hair I feel like a celebrity. She did exactly what I asked for and then some. I am very pleased. I reccomend her all day. I got my hair done last Friday and it still looks great. I have already booked my next appointment. I love it.
I went to the Blendz Hair Care Studio in my neighborhood, rather than go to the J. C. Penny's I was going to go to. What did I do that for? Almost had to leave because some stylist took debit and credit cards, some didn't. Lady is leading me out of the door when another stylist called me. Anyway the lady (Vinice or something like that) that ended up seeing me made me think I was going to leave out looking like a million dollars. I didn't want my hair cut, which she said was a must or at least a weave, I didnt want either, after already receiving a bad cut. I came for a $45.00 wash and set and we ended up talking about coloring my hair. I am 56y/o with graying hair. I agreed and said lets do it auburn. I am thinking auburn is a mid color brown, not dark, not gold. I GOT RED! How do you get RED out of AUBURN, She said oh! I thought you wanted this color. 56 years old with red hair. And the style looks like my grandmother's style! No I didn't go in looking like a 20 year old for her to think I wanted RED hair! Everybody apologized, except the stylist! I paid $70 to get my hair washed and colored, I didn't even set under the dryer for an extra conditioner, oh I forgot, she took $10 off the price. I just got a perm 2 weeks ago, so no perm. I paid $70 so that I can now go buy a wig, cause red hair in corporate america on a 56 year old woman ain't working! BLENDZ Hair Salon in West End - Be Ware - Go At Your Own Risk I tried to be good hearted about it, but the more I look at my head, the angrier I get. Any lawyers out there??????

Bad Bad Business\r \r I went to the Blendz Hair Care Studio in my neighborhood, first mistake. Went to get a simple wash and set. First lady said the price was $45.00. I ended up with someone whose name started with a V. Very unusual name. Anyway after talking to the stylist V she convinced me to get color for my gray. I had already been thinking about doing it so I said I have been told I should get my hair Auburn. She said ok and the next thing I see is RED HAIR! Everyone apologized, except the stylist! I did not get a perm, already had one. I got my h air washed, don't even know if she conditioned it, I got the ends trimmed and the rinse, I am told it will wash out after while. How does one go from Auburn to RED. Apparantly there are all shades of Auburn. I did not know. Shouldn't the stylist have told me??? Anyway $70 (this included a $10.,00 discount, I guess because she knew I was not happy) Come on sisters, we have got to do better! I should have just refused to pay, then they would have had negative comments to say about Black Folk! But I tell you Sisters, they have a lot of good reviews, but this one woman made my experience one that I would wish on no one. Red Hair on a 56 year old woman in corporate america. Not Good. I need legal advice, because this is horrendous! And on top of that I did not get a receipt for my hair, she said it was sent to my e-mail account NOT! Good I put it on a credit card, I don't know this may be a bigger scam than just the $70 for my hair!

Ok, Im going to write about two different trips I had to Blendz West End. it seems like I picked a bad time to go since the best stylist Latonya is gone... First let me say Parking is HORRIBLE. Dont even waste your time trying to park in the CVS parking lot because there are no spots at all. Be prepared to park somewhere else and walk. Its also in a really bad part of ATL so dont park just anywhere. My first visit I got Gocha to do my hair. I was a walk in and the stylists are always just sitting around up front. She cut ALOT of my already short hair, but it turned out fabulous. She was friendly and helpful and it came out to about $75 for a relaxer and the cut. Now my second trip..WOW. I walked in Friday afternoon and asked for a touch up. There were as usual about 3 or 4 ladies just sitting around and I ended up being seen by Vicie. She was friendly and asked me what I wanted and I told her to touch up my roots and give a light trim for my split ends. So I guess she took it upoin herself to CUT her hair yet again. My hair turned out OK-not great, not fabulous just OK. Then she tried to charge me ($85) for the relaxer and $25 for a cut I didnt even ask for. I looked at her like she was crazy-and she was for expecting someone to pay her $85 for a mediocre relaxer job she did with her fingers. She claimed she was giving me a discount because Im in collegeand only charged $85 but I knew from my time with Gocha that she had already overcharged me. Luckily for her, I was in a huge rush to catch a flight so I had no time to argue with her. I just paid her and left. My hair didnt have much of a curl or style to it, it looked pretty bland so I didnt tip her. Overall I would say the salon is great, very nice atmosphere and the stylists are friendly and professional, just make sure you are seen by someone who knows how to style hair and DONT LET THEM CUT YOUR HAIR-because the stylists are very scissor happy. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY VICIE-she is obviously still a rookie and doesnt have alot of skill with styling hair especially short hair.If not then she doesnt need to be doing hair because nobody should be that lazy and half assed with a hairstyle I dont care how short their hair is. I also think its a little over priced for what they do. I think they try and bump the prices becuse of the so called famous clintele they have, but Ive never been that impressed with Kandi's hair anyway. There is a salon down the street next to some hardware store that has stylist from Chicago (I cant remember her name) but she does hair just as good if not better than the ladies at Blendz and she charges less AND she takes very good care of your hair. One last thing: Nobody should EVER have to pay more than $65 for a relaxer in ATL. There are way too many stytlists out here who do great hair. There are tons of shops-some of them 2 blocks down from Blendz that will have you looking just as good if not better-for cheaper. Now that I think of it, nobody I saw leave that day looked all that hot. Latonya was the best thing they had but she's gone now..

My experience with Tiffany Leake-Hunter at Blendz was phenomenal. Before I even get to the actual styling I want to say that Tiffany is the first stylist that has ever had me sitting in the chair EXACTLY ON TIMNE. I have short hair that was already in a pretty nice style and she took it to a totally different level. She consulted with me, we picked a picture to work from, and she came up with the perfect new cut & style. I was slightly nervous when the scissors came out because I didn't think I had think I had much hair length to spare but she mixed humor with patience and we were good to go. Before I knew it, I was glammed out. If you want, a great stylist that knows what she's doing and manages time to a tee (Appt was @ 9:30 and I was out by 11:20) I highly recommend Tiffany.

I have maybe 2 inches of hair, waiting for more than 3-4 hours is completely unacceptable. I will continue my search for a salon that appreciates my business. This is the problem with black businesses and a troubling issue that surrounds our beauty salons. Double, Triple, & Quadruple booking. Salons need to realize that customer service is the key to being successful and having longevity, without good customer service you will eventually fail. May not be today, but it will happen. I will not repeat!

I recently read a review on Hair Stylist Latonya Overton that labeled her as the epitome of hair styling. I have to say she is just that. I found Latonya online and took my chances with her after reading all of the wonderful reviews about her during my online research. I have to admit that ALL of the reviews ARE TRUE! This is an amazing stylist and what makes her even more special, she has a personality and heart of gold. She cares not only about her clients and the appearance of their hair, but most importantly, she cares more about its health. I have never been more satisfied. Kudos to the salon she works in, Salon Allen Mitchell in Atlanta. This is the friendliest, clean, comfortable and professional salon I have ever been in. The entire staff is amazing! I never knew getting my hair done (which I do every week) could be such a wonderful experience. Please believe the reviews on Latonya Overton, they are true
