Lovely place, bad customer service!!

We have been a members of the Garden for the past 6 months and love coming here, but we were very dissappointed with how we were treated today after we could not reschedule our tickets for the lights show. We spent over $60 on the tickets and our kids were so excited to see the Christmas lights. It was storming so bad, that we could not make it to the Gardens and after talking to several people there, they refused to... view more

Art and Nature in the Middle of the City

Located in bustling Midtown, the Botanical Gardens offer an inexpensive way to spend the afternoon exploring exotic plant life, alternating art installations, nature walks, and simple snacks. For only $12, you can buy a cup of frozen yogurt or small pastry and cruise the rock garden, orchid house, Japanese garden, and multiple landscapes. What draws me most often is my love for art?currently you can view sculptures i... view more

Great venue for all

This venue appeals to young and old, trendy and conservative, singles and couples. The children's garden is abolutely precious from it Peter Rabbit display to the fountains. Toddlers love it.\r \r And the exhibits are fabulous. The current Niki exhibit is stunning.

Good for kids

The garden has a very nice section for children. In the summer be sure to pack a suit or a change of clothes. There are serveral places for the kids to get wet. Children can get bored (or scared) in the orchid section, so we stick to the kid area across the bridge. The family membership is worth it if you plan on attending several times. Parking can be a pain. Be sure to go all the way in and check the lot before tak... view more

Orchid Lights, Orchid Nights-Just Right!

My wife and I attended the ""Orchid Lights, Orchid Nights"" event this past February, and it was wonderful! It was such a nice change from looking at two-dimensional art - Here we were looking at deep, lush gardens, and beautiful flowers and plants that were all around us, and even above us! We're really looking forward to coming back this spring to see the rose gardens, and all of the other new exhibits that are pla... view more

Amazing Orchids

Located next to Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden does wonders with a relatively small space. The beautiful new orchid house is reason enough to visit and the playground makes it a great afternoon outing for kids. If you want to avoid the $10 admission charge, hit the park after 3pm on Thursdays.

Kids' Garden Not Just for Kids

If you need to get in touch with your inner child, try the Atlanta Botanical Garden during the day (when there aren't any kids around). Let yourself go and run through the kids' garden, ducking into the play areas and sliding down the slides. You'll feel a lot better about yourself and your day.
