I've been going to this Kroger for a number of years now, and it was always a little sketchy. They had cheap prices usually, but their produce and meat/fish was not reliable. Sometimes I would get home and find the meat or fish was already bad. However, the past year or so this place has really spiffed up. Their produce is looking better and I haven't had as bad of luck with the meat. It is annoying that you have to have a Kroger card to get their sale prices, and their "sales" aren't always good deals, but it is a reliable cheap grocery store.
Great cheeses, sushi, eggs, and wines. Produce is usually good and a good selection of ethnic shelf-stable items. Restocking of especially produce can be hit or miss. Seafood dept needs to work on keeping flies away but is generally good quality considering we're in land-locked Atlanta! Staff are generally friendly.
While this is the closest grocery store to my home, I am less likely to go here than other stores because their supply of items I purchase isn't always reliable. The store is clean as you would expect from Publix and most of the staff are friendly but not nearly as efficient as other locations I have shopped.
