Today we receive a call as Nov 10 2011 5:42 am, customer Bruno who request transportation to Doraville Marta Station. He want to be pick up 6:30 am in his house and asking if the unit will be on time. The answer was yes "the unit will in front of your house 6:30 am" The unit get to the address at 6:25 am and waiting to 6:35 am. Between that time we call the customer several times at his cell phone but he didn't answer; we found his house phone number, but was disconnected. We let him a message, to let him know that the unit get to his house on time and because he didn't answer the phone; the unit go to get the next customer. Mr Bruno call 6:45 am to let us know that he was taking a shower and he can't answer the phone; he expecting that the driver gonna knock his door. Anyway he said "I don't make complain if you send back the unit right know" We let him know that we can't do that and he get really obsess. Allways we learn something about complains. Keep in main if you call a transportation service; when is dark time the communication will be by the phone. If the unit isn't in front of your location on time call the base phone number. We had bad experience when is night time, drivers can't knock the door. Could be very dangerous for the drivers to do it especially if you are a new customer.
I called Doug -based on a recommendation by a dealer in fine furnishings- to assist with moving an antique sofa from said dealer's residence to my home. Doug's quoted price was actually within the same range as if I rented a U-Haul and moved the piece myself, including mileage, gas and insurance, and much more reasonable than prices proffered by other movers I had dealt with in the past. The times of availability for the piece to be moved were a bit unorthodox, but Doug went out of his way to accommodate me. He did not know me, and had never met me... our conversations were all conducted over the phone, but he treated me with the utmost fairness, respect and honesty. He took extreme care with securing and moving said antique from the former owner, and into our home, and was very gentle with it. You can tell this is a man that genuinely takes pride in what he does. I will continue to employ his services whenever needed. In this industry, it is rare to find an individual with that level of care and consideration and I unequivocally endorse him and his company.
