I am all for giving second chances because hey who does everything right the first time around… I mean we are humans and we ALL make mistakes right? In life you learn that it doesn’t matter how you make the mistake, it’s what you do to fix it and more importantly that you learn to never make that same type of mistake twice. With that being said… Cinco Mexican Cantina has definitely learned that lesson 100 folds over! The first time I went to Cinco my experience was not so pleasant, and I did voice my opinion not expecting anything in return but WOW! Did that establishment prove me wrong! It all started when the CEO of FIVE Restaurant Group (owner of the Cinco Mexican Cantina restaurants) called me personally (yes little ol’ me) to apologize about my experience and invited me and my 30 guests back to the restaurant for dinner. When we arrived for the dinner party the customer service was outstanding! Our waiters- Tony and Levon treated us with 5-star service. Levon reviewed and explain in full detail about each item on the menu, I was totally impressed! Not only was I impressed but my guests were so happy. One guests said I feel like I am on the Food Network because the wait staff was there for our every need! How could I forget the food… very very very good! My food was excellent; I had the grilled salmon with a jalapeño potato cake and asparagus. This dinner was really for my guests because had it been just for me I would have never complained about the first dining experience, but my guests came to support me and I wanted to make sure they were happy and they were more than satisfied with our Re-do dinner yesterday! I learned a very important lesson- why not give a second chance? You never know, the second chance might be a lasting impression. I will remember Cinco Mexican Cantina as a restaurant with great service, suberb food, cool atmosphere and amazing customer service! You should definitely try it out; I promise you will not be disappointed. Muy Muy Bueno!
Saturday, September 26,2k9 I planned a surprise bday party for my boyfriend's 30th...however it was last minute and I didn't have reservations. I showed up at Dugans @ 9 and it was already standing room only. OMG!!! So I panic, not only is he on the way but the guest are starting to arrive as well...The manager seemed to hear my prayers because he came over and offered me a pick up table. It would seat 10. Perfect right? Not yet. He told me that I would have to share the table with other patrons. I told him about my situation and he told me I could have the whole table!!!! And when I realized more people had showed up, no problem, he offered us 2 more tables. Our server was Bobby "Blu" and he was polite, efficient, and very understanding under pressure. The deejay played all the right songs and we didn't leave the dance floor until we left the Bar. I would highly recommend this bar. Good spirits+good music=a dam good time. Needless to say, everything flowed as planned..THANKS DUGANS!!!
I visited The Pecan this past weekend for a renewal of wedding vows event. I hadn't heard of this restaurant prior but I was in for a real treat! The decor was extremely nice, the staff was very professional, and the food was the absolute BEST! I ordered the blackened shrimp with angel hair pasta and a glass of Reisling wine. Although the food may be a little pricey for some in these economic times, if you have it spend, it's worth every penny! I haven't stopped thinking or talking about this restaurant since. I plan to take my family this weekend for my father's birthday and I'm considering incorporating them in my wedding plans either by catering or hosting my reception here! What are you waiting for??? You have to try this restaurant out!!
