The Phoenix and the Dragon is an oasis in the desert. That’s what my friends and I say about the store to each other. . People feel good, and even abundant as they walk into the “Phoenix.” Soft music provides a background of harmony and relaxation. It’s a magical place of beautiful stones, lovely clothes, home objects and books. It’s a place that would feel welcoming to your grandmother or your child. A place where one can take their time and browse among all the treasures. I often recommend the “Phoenix” to people who are pursuing a book about the Kabala, the Course of Miracles or anything of a spiritual nature. Going to the Phoenix can save person years of reading time because the book buyer knows her stuff. The store offers a nice range of high quality programs both free and for a fee. There are comfortable places to sit, browse and even an outdoor patio and art gallery. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. The store is very convenient across from a super target and many restaurants. There is plenty of parking. I have been coming to the Phoenix and Dragon for over ten years. I used to live ten miles away from the store, but periodically I would make sure I visited the store. I always left feeling happy. I think, it’s a truly welcoming center for the whole community. In grateful appreciation Sandra Niven, customer

If you're plus sized, and need a formal dress or bridal gown, you definately need to go here. It's so nice to go to a bridal shop that caters primarily to plus sizes, and they actually have a large selection of up to date, fashionable gowns right there in the store to try on, all shapes and types from destination to a full cathedral style. They also have honeymoon attire and foundation lingerie for big girls. The gals that work there are low pressure, they listen, they're lots of fun, and a huge help. The prices are very reasonable, definately competitive with other shops. They don't make you sit with an aggressive consultant that will let you try on what they think you should wear, or give out all your personal information that they turn around and sell to bridal marketers just to try on a dress, or claim on the internet to have larger sizes in the store, but in truth only stock maybe two or three gowns in their stores to try on. This place is definately different. I saw a sign by the desk that said it was awarded top honors last year by The Knot, and it's no small wonder. They had a lot of very nice flower girl and mother of the bride outfits, as well as formal shoes up to size 12. It's really worth driving to if you're out of state, seriously. The alterations shop is right next door, and there's a grooms shop in the same shopping center.
I remember looking all over town looking for an outfit to buy my mother for her birthday. After a long search I cam across Lea's Boutique at the West End Mall. Oh my goodness! This store had a huge selection of merchandise. From beautiful designer hats to gorgeous jewelry. But the biggest merchandise they carried was women's special occasion atire. I was able to find the perfect suit and a beautiful hat to match for my mother. I highly recommend this store to those of you who are looking for womens special occasion clothes, jewelry, and hats.
