Okay, I will have to say that my appointment was at 5pm, but I wasn't seen until 6:15p. Now, with that being said, it was a Saturday, a very busy one and there was plenty of special needs requested for each appointment, mine was not an exception. I initially needed a cleaning followed by TWO extractions. The lady that did my cleaning was very thorough, very nice and talkative (not in a bad way). She made me feel comfortable and was so friendly, it felt as though I have known her for years (and I am NOT a talkative person). She made sure that any questions I had were answered to her best knowledge and was very personable. When I finally got to the doctor (only after about 6 minutes of waiting after the cleaning in the lobby) he was too very personable and sincere about his work and patients. He made sure to go over everything with you and made everything as comfortable as possible. I am not a fan of the needle, however when he opened himself up and informed me that he is the same but didn't dwell on the matter and narrated events about his studies and travels, you forget that he was working on your mouth AT ALL!! He took the time to make sure all was done properly before he moved on to the next item and completing the surgery. Usually, on a Saturday evening, most people are ready to go home and get you out of there, instead with these wonderful people, they made you feel at ease and apart of the family. I don't remember how I was able to locate them Apollo online, but I like to say that it was God and His answer to my prayer of asking for nice and good people to be put in my path. They were humble, inviting and above ALL professional. I will definitely return and recommend ANY and ALL to see Dr. Reid and his staff.
I truly cannot speak well enough of Dr. Kerr and his staff. As a patient now for over 13 yrs I have consistently received the utmost professional service and care from each staff member at every appointment. From the friendly greeting to the brief stay in the waiting room (pls don't bother to pick up a magazine as you won't have time to read an article!!) to the honest and detailed service you receive from all the staff to the wonderful ginerbread cookie treat as you exit the office. Just this past month (Feb, 2011), Dr. Kerr and his staff surpassed their normal level of excellence by willingly accommodating my work schedule to finish a crown. Not only had Dr. Kerr generously offered to come in during his off hours to complete the crown, his staff had stayed late the night before preparing all the tools necessary for the procedure. While in the chair, I thought that maybe Dr. Kerr had decided to schedule a few patients for the day due to the icy conditions in Atlanta during Jan/Feb 2011. However during our conversation I realized (and then confirmed with Dr. Kerr) that I was the only patient of the day!! I was absolutely amazed and dumbfounded!!! It was unbelievable that a doctor of 30 years would come into his office for a single patient. I debated between 3 & 4 stars. While I like Dr. Patel and his staff, 4 people working there have not been of service. On my first visit, 3 people were to get back to me on various questions I had. Two months later, no answer. I even called to follow up. Recently, my check I mailed to them got returned, they verified the address, which was correct, and the front desk lady said she would have to call me back about what to do. ? Not sure why. Debating on whether to go back or not. I would be a lifelong customer with lots of work needed to be done, meaning money in their pocket.
