The company subcontracts its work out. Very disappointed .I had requested for someone to service the boiler. Got someone who said that he did not service in winter..The plumber who came the house seemed to be knowledgeable but extremely expensive.We were told that it would be a 100$ service charge for coming and then based on the work there would be additional charge. The man came within the time slot and asked about the problems. After the entire description he said that the boiler would need to be replaced soon anyways and that he did not service the boiler in winter. So to do it in summer. Also talked about the estimates for replacing that and the hot water heater while doing that as that also was at the end of life most probably. He then charged 100$ for the service fee and 1 hour labor 145$ == 245$ which is too high given that he did not do any additional work on the house. One thing he did was when he heard that I tested the low water cutoff only in winter -- he filled the boiler and hit the cutoff and removed dirty water ( he said that was free of charge though at that time). Just estimates and listening to the problems happening with the boiler.

My young son (2) has recently started flushing anything and everything he can, no matter the size or quantity. Needless to say I needed a plumber to asses/fix the damage caused. Placella's technician got here at the said time, he even got me to laugh about this very frustrating situation. Price was great and the work was top notch! I'll be calling them in the future!

Placella Plumbing and Heating assisted me when I was informed that radiator was not working, apparently that was the case. They were very flexible and I was able to schedule my appointment based on my best timing, they got the job completed and we had heat within hours, im very pleased with their work.
