        I recently moved to Chicago and called Matrix to cancel my membership. I had a copy of my lease that I offered to email to Allison but she refused it, claiming only a utility bill was acceptable. Since I've been in Chicago for 2 weeks, I dont have a utility bill at this point and I didnt want to continue paying for a membership that is impossible to use. I have been a member of NY Sports Club, Planet Fitness and other gyms and I've never had such a hard time canceling before. I couldn't believe I had to continue paying for this membership until I get sent a utility bill. I told Allison I would be writing a review based on my experience and at that point, things became bizarre as she refused to let me off the phone, continuing to talk whenever I said I was hanging up. She started saying completely inappropriate things like "You used to be so nice when you came to the gym, whats happened to you?". I was extremely annoyed with how she had begun talking to me like I was her daughter.
