The Lakes at Ashton Village

My husband and I lived at the Lakes at Ashton village for one year. I want to say that Mike the maintenance guy was amazing! He had everything done the same day that you called in about it! He rocks! The grounds are kept very nice, lawn care, flowers, mulching Etc.. However, we have two issues: the one HUGE complaint that my husband and I have was the refund of our deposit at move out. We cleaned the apartment IMMACULATELY, to every exact detail listed on the sheet of paper they provided us and they still charged us $125.00 fee for cleaning. They also stated that there was a hole in a door in which there absolutely was not and then did not provide pictures as requested to verify. So we were only refunded a little over half of our deposit. Which was a huge disappointment. When I called the front office to rectify the situation nothing was done to do so. It was a huge disappointment! Definitely leaving an overall sour taste in your mouth. The other complaint would be that the phone was rarely answered at the front office. If you want to have anything addressed you have to go to the office in person during their business hours. Leslie the office manager was often attempted to be contacted and wasn't able to be because she simply wouldn't answer the phone. When my husband went to the front office to address the issue she stated she was just too busy to answer phones.

Spacious apartments - great staff - all very very helpful. Highly recommended!!!!
