This is your traditional neighborhood…
This is your traditional neighborhood pub. When you go, you are very likely to run into someone you know. Food is great. I am not a beer drinker but everyone I have hung out with at the pub has raved about the beer (local and delish!). And true to the nature of Asheville Foodie Scene, you can find tofu options in addition to the meaty goodness. My most favorite spot is the front right window. Comfy couches, tables and people watching make for a good time in that spot.

This was the sort of place we immediately felt at home in. Pool tables off to one side, a great bar/beer selection. The menu was more varied than your average bar food. I had the shrimp and grits special, which was awesome. Husband ended up with a southwest-y chicken wrap. Not actually what he ordered, but looked so good once it came out that he went with it. The very apologetic waitress comped it too. She let me sample a beer in question before committing to a whole pint, which was really nice. They had a great back patio too. If I lived here, this is a place I would hang out a lot.
