While I appreciate the use of fresh mozarella, the crust was altogether way too salty. This is coming from someone who loves salty food in general. I can't believe that their pizza crust is always so salty; I'm hoping that what we ate was a mistake, that the cooks had accidentally added too much salt to this one batch of dough. I couldn't even finish the crusts because they were just way too salty. The sauce was okay, but nothing great. Not much flavor to the sauce. A fresh and succulent pizza sauce is so easy to make with fresh crushed tomatoes, crushed garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, salt, pepper, and sugar. However, this sauce just didn't satisfy. I applaud the restaurant's idea of making a fresh, simple pizza, but this was altogether a disappointment. The best pizzas I've ever had were in Paris near Montmartre at ""Pizza a Emporter"" and in Estero, FL at Zaza's Serious Pizza. Won't be going back to Marco's.
