Jiffy Lube

It is not often that I write reviews, but this HAS to be said. I am knowledgeable about cars but have recently lost my ability to physically do work on my vehicle. Being as knowledgeable as I am, there is always fear going anywhere but my shop to get work done on my car. I chose Jiffy Lube being that it was closest to my home. I met a fine young man, Tall, Redheaded and bearded. I believe I heard a coworker call him Josh? This man spoke to me on a level that I haven't heard since my days as an Automotive engineer. Completely understood my automotive jargon, went above and beyond to be sure I felt comfortable and extremely polite! There are not many times in this day and age where I have faith in the younger generation but this young man is the REAL DEAL. I will bring my business there, and ask specifically for this man. Great quick carwash, great service. Pull in, they spray prep your car, drive thru, they towel dry you off before letting you leave. Fast and good staff.

I go to Chammies at least once a month for their "whole 9 yards" car wash. Overall, they do a fairly good job. Sometimes before I leave I have to point out that there are streaks on a (usually back) window, but they are always happy to make it right.



I have also recently gotten my oil changed there. No only are they super-speedy, but the service technician is friendly and helpful.



My only wish is that they would offer more than a "dust" or "wipe" of the dash. I wish there was an option on their price list to have the interior well-cleaned or really detailed. Also, if there was a Chammies closer to the west side of Asheville, I'd go there more often.



My suggestions - look over your vehicle before you leave. And always tip accordingly.
