Dr. Goldstein was highly recommended by staff at Asheville Eye,
so I became his patient with confidence. He is superbly trained and an excellent surgeon. I needed lower lid surgery. This "need" expanded to include more eye lid and brow procedures, which improved the light entering my eyes,-and my "looks!". I still look "like me," a big concern of mine, but younger!!! Dr. Goldstein is quiet spoken and very patient. He wants his patients completely sure of what he will do, and gave me plenty of time to read carefully everything.
No rush here. The staff in the office, and in the surgery suite admire and respect Dr. Goldstein. They like working with him.
He is a pleasant person.

The thought of a procedure near your eye can be a daunting thought. Every step of the way I was given clear information and all of my questions were answered.
I am astounded at the ease of the procedure and recovery. Post-op, I expected that a bit of pain may have set in and was happily surprised that the minor discomfort I did have was easily remedied with otc Tylenol and ice.
I am so happy with how the eye lid looks! This is something that has bothered me for quite awhile and was now impacting my vision. It looks absolutely amazing and is perfectly balanced with my other eye.
Simply put I both incredibly happy and also grateful for Dr. Goldstein and his wonderful staff!

I received 'patient-centered care' from Dr.Goldstein and his team. My history includes PTSD which was respected and a care plan discussed and implemented on my surgery date. Dr. Goldstein is such a talented and gifted surgeon.. He is also compassionate and takes great care to assure his patients comfort during surgery and afterwards He even called the evening after surgery to see how I was doing.while I was hope recovering. Who does that anymore? . From the first appointment until followup of my surgery he exceeded my expectations! I cannot recommend him enough!

I came 3.5 hours to receive a 2nd revision surgery for a car crash across my eyelid- 1st surgeon I saw left my eyelid slanted and asymmetrical. Goldstein worked with me not only with figuring out realistic results, but helped me to accept myself even with a scar. I haven't seen my eyelid look this normal in over two years! I'm so happy with his work. Absolutely recommend!!!!
