        GOOD FOOD. GOOD SERVICE. NICE RUSTIC AMBIENCE.

        I attended a private function at The Fireplace on Sunday for my husband's co-worker's son's graduation and go party. The meal was fabulous. I had just eaten a favorite, 12 Bones on Saturday. This place is no 12 Bones but the food was just as good in a different way- like apples and oranges. The BBQ ribs reminded me of my grandfather's ribs. They were tender and no extra sauce was needed. The potato salad and the coleslaw were pretty tasty as well. If I had an event to plan and wanted a surefire down home meal, I would not hesitate to give them a call. Well, whether I need catering or not, I will be sure to return for the good food, friendly service, and nice rustic ambience.

        Love it. Love it. Our group meets here for dinner several times a month. The BBQ buffet is great, smoked turkey, pork, smoked chicken, chopped BBQ to name a few. The seafood buffet is awesome too. All the fixings are here, along with a fresh, clean salad bar with lots of choices, including fruit. Home-made soup is fresh each day, and is included with the salad bar. There is a nice regular menu, offering seafood, burgers and amazing fried chicken to order. The place is huge, great for big parties, and has roaring fireplaces when it is chilly outside. Friendly owners and staff are ready to keep everyone taken care of. It's great for family's with older folks(there is a ramp outside) and little kids too.
