Highly disappointing experience!
Highly disappointing experience! Crazy and unprofessional shop owner Kim tells me that I'm trying to commit "return fraud" and have a "bad attitude," then refuses to give me information about where the jewelry came from.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD.
I went into the shop looking for the perfect nose ring, just like the one I was wearing but in pure gold. I was excited when they told me that they could get exactly that, but they'd have to order it. I payed over $100 happily for the right nose ring but when it finally came in the mail, it wasn't the same at all - clearly larger than the one that shop assistant Stephanie and I compared it to (in my nose). I called and explained my disappointment but they told me to give it a try and see if I could get used to it. A day or two later I decided that I just couldn't get used to it, it wasn't what I asked for, not to mention that the gauge adjustment was hurting badly! I decided to send the nose ring back, but it's not over yet. I got a call thereafter stating that I could not return the jewelry. I asked to speak to the owner and that's when things really got blown out of proportion. Kim's business approach and understanding of customer service is truly twisted. She tried to turn the entire situation around on me as if I was some kind of criminal who was out to get her. The conversation ended nearly an hour later, after me saying over and over again, "it's just not what I asked for, and it's not what you told me I'd be getting" and her responding with highly defensive and downright unprofessional comments.

The people who work at empire are fantastic! their portfolios where full of great custom tattoos that they had drawn so i knew that getting a small flower on my foot would be no problem. the were extremley helpfull with the flower. i had no idea how many diffrent ways and flowers i could get! but it was awsome, they made sure i got exactly what i wanted. and its better than i could have imagined. i plan on getting more. the shop is great. and all the jewelry just made me want to get everything pierced just so i could wear the jewelry! THANK YOU EMPIRE!!!!

I searched all over town and did my research and this shop by far is the best. The studio is amazing! They dont just have flash but artwork all over the walls. The Artists portfolios are immaculate. armbands to bodysuits. Very nice guys. no overblown egos like the other shops. They have tons of Jewelry like i have never seen before. Very chill atmosphere. They dont over charge or over inflate their prices. Dont take my word for it check it out and you wont be sorry!

Awesome Work
I've only had ink done by Jeremy, which is an excellent artist, but any time im ever asked "Where's a good place to get a tattoo?" the very first place i say is empire. For western nc i think the whole crew there is top notch and is by far the best place to go.
