We had a handicapped room with 2 queen beds. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and fresh. The TV is a large flat panel; there is free wireless internet in the room and a small refrigerator and microwave. The thermostat-controlled heat/ac kept the room at a very comfortable temperature and it operated quietly. Our room was located across the hall from the ice machine and there was a little noise from that, but it wasn't excessive when we were there (MON--FRI nights, 1st week OCT., 2011), but it could have been a problem, depending on motel occupants. Also, we thought the price was fair for this time of year and location. The free breakfast was very good; hot scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffle maker, large selection of breads and cold cereals, oatmeal, juices, coffee. The breakfast is for early risers only, as it stops at 9:30 AM on weekdays. The only complaint I have is the handicapped facilities in the bathroom. The toilet is not elevated but has grab bars next to it which are obscured by the hand towels. The shower head can be handheld but the shower chair is completely unsafe as far as I am concerned. It is difficult to figure out how to correctly attach it to the tub sides. I guess we never had it attached correctly as it kept sliding around threatening to drop me in the tub. For this reason alone, I will probably not stay at this location again, unless I hear of handicapped improvements being made. If you do not need the handicapped facilities, you should enjoy the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms here. There are also lots of restaurants and shopping located near this property. There is an outdoor pool that was not heated (we were told it was when making the reservation) so this was also a small disappointment.
