        Acapella Audio is a Full Service Audio Production and Post Production House run by principal David Schmidt with 20 years experience. David has mixed hundreds of long form documentary projects as well as feature and short films. Our post production studio is booked with mixes for clients across the country including Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel, ABC and HGTV. As Location Sound Recordist for Film and Video projects Acapella Audio uses industry standard professional equipment. Sound Devices mixer, LectroSonics wireless systems, Sanken lavaliere and shotgun microphones, and Ktek Boompoles are some of the tools in use. Acapella Audio uses state of the art Digital Audio Workstation Nuendo 5 in its Audio Post Production Studio along with tools from Dorrough, Snell and Denon. Based around a fast 6 core Processor Acapella Audio is capable of recording, editing and mixing to the highest professional standards. With a library of thousands of sound effects and music from vendors such as Sound Ideas, APM and Killer Tracks we have unlimited creative and technical freedom to finish projects efficiently. The ability to receive and distribute both audio and video files in nearly any format from clients across the globe using ftp technology allows flexibility in interfacing with our clients.
