I must give credit when and where credit is due. As a traveling Executive, I use the 'big guys' on a very regular basis. I probably would be looked at as a Platinum Member with a couple of the nationals. Recently, due to another event in Asheville, I found myself getting #@%&! on my booked reservation. Surprisingly, none of my regulars could, or would, come up with a car for me. And they didn't seem to give a hoot about it either. Anyway, I was exhausting all of the companies in alphabetical order and found myself on the 'u', leading me to U-Save, of which I had never heard of. When I called and explained what had happened, the man answering the phone asked if I could give him an hour because he had a car that was dropped off at a car dealership earlier. Although it was 5:30 in the afternoon, he said that he could get his wife to come over and pick him up as soon as they closed (6:00) and then run him over to pick up the car, wash it, and have it ready for me. And this would be 30 minutes after they closed! Bottom line is that you do not find service like this anymore. I was more than impressed . . . I am sold! And to put a cherry on the proverbial cake, the car was nicer than most that I receive from the other guys. There truly is something to say about locally owned businesses.

I am not sure what had happened to the person who wrote the negative review, but I left another car rental company purely for the opposite reasons: prompt, caring, courteous, and professional service. I rent every other week, and they have yet to let me down. And yes, the owner really does care very much.
This was a great experience! They were so willing to work with me as I tried to make plans to visit family over the holidays! I will absolutely be bringing more business their way in the future!
