This daycare goes above and beyond! They genuinely care about the children and they do so much to teach them all they can. My daughter asks to go to school on the weekends because she has so much fun. They hatch baby chicks in the spring, do lesson plans every single day and keep the parents updated on a daily basis, my daughter is well taken care of every day that she is there. The parents talk to one another and the director and admin assistant is very involved in each class room and know every child and parent by name. As to the previous review, they were called "free to b me " many years ago while under a completely different owner. You can pop in at any time and check on your child and even get references from other parents as to the outstanding quality of this center.

My Daughter started this day care in november of 2011, At first yes she was fine, She loves her teacher alot she is a wonderful person, But when I pick her up at 5 every day she is strapped into a baby seat (bouncer seat) She is almost two (turns two in aug 2012) She is too big to be in a bouncer seat, And somedays When I pick her up she is sitting in front of the tv. When she sees me walk in she turns and looks at the lady before she gets up. Like she is nervous to get up, I am switching Daycares Looking for a daycare that takes valtures.. And in west asheville area. I would NOT reconmend this day care to another parent, Im sorry!
My daughter, Mary Day, really likes East Asheville Academy (EAA). She is always learning wonderful things and surprises me on a daily basis with all the great things that they have taught her. She loves her teachers. I have no complaints about the teachers. The previous reviewer must work for a competitor or something because there is nothing trashy about this daycare. My daughter has attended two other daycare facilities (Building Blocks and Creative Village) and EAA is just as clean as those daycares. I have never seen any type of abuse or neglect by any of the staff.
