This place is unusual in the way they do business compared to any other food bank I've been to. They have two people at the door, one when you come in and one when you leave. When you come in it is there job to check a bill (every time you come in) to check the date.... The date has to be within a month of you coming in. I've been here for times now and they are extremely picky about the date.... It had to be an issued date not due date although it's pretty much common sense that a Comcast bill doesn't get sent out two months in advance and have due dates not issue dates. The second person at the door keeps your ID to be sure that you'll bring the cart back. the four times I have come I have had to wait at least an hour before I shop. After waiting in line standing for an hour you get to go see people at a desk who check your ID and bill for a second time and then make you wait some more before someone comes to assist you with your incompetent self because you don't know how to read signs and add points together. It is extremely aggravating how their system works, they definitely need someone to re-analyze the process. Why have 2 people at the door? place a sign before the line that advises people of the requirements and if they stand in line for an hour before finally getting to the person who checks your bill, and they don't accept it then it is the shoppers fault. Why notuse that door person to help reduce the time people are waiting by adding one more person to the shopping area to assist all of us incompetent people. I would never come here ever if I had a choice but unfortunately I don't as of now..... I have a family to feed so I'll put up with the lack of organization here and some of the very rude volunteers!! The sweet part? They have better food than the other food banks I've gone to and even include a section for people allergic to gluten! :) also commodity boxes are available every month but they always run out so to get it you have to come around the middle of the month... Plan on standing in line for two hours on days close to the middle of the month.

I find it horrifying to write a bad review about an organizations that gives away food but I must. This is the worst food bank in the world. They don't allow children inside the food bank, they make you wait outside in the hot or cold. they are nasty vile people and they usually give you old nasty rotten food. We have to sort through the box and usually end up throwing away about half the food each time. They only let you go 10 times a year so if your out of work for more than year then you starve to 2 months.
