Sounds like sour grapes from some people. I found this gun shop very well stocked. Staff was helpful from the time I walked in. They were very knowledgeable . . . helped me select a fun for my size hand . . gave me some great tips on handling it. I took it back a few days later when something malfunctioned - they quickly remedied the situation. I would definitely recommend this store!
I have purchased 3 different times from 5280. 2 shotguns and 1 rifle. The staff is very helpful. The owners are always available and in store will to help all the time. Great selection on tactical and hunting guns. Everyone is knowledgeable on the products they sell. Price might be higher then online but I like to support my local businesses especially ma and pa shops so I'll spend a couple dollars more to help keep local shops in business.
I would probably give it zero stars if I could, but one gentleman there actually has been helpful when I have visited. Tall gentleman with glasses and a beard. I wish I would have written down his name. He was extremely courteous and genuinely helpful. Others were rude with customer service. They are very standoffish and even ownership doesn't seem interested in customer service. If they would focus on customer service, they could probably double their sales given their inventory and lack of competition.
5280 Armory is a great gunshop with nice people that have always asked me if i needed anything, good cusomer service. Even though ammunition is in very short supply right now, they DO NOT price gouge like Westminster Arms does! They have an amazing selection in store of firearms and they try to keep ammunition in as best they can in these trying times. The only thing that i wish they still did was knives as they are phasing them out, but if it isnt profitable, i can understand. Would recomend this place to any and all! as a personal note, anybody thats making cracks about a ladie's physical attributes on an open forum only shows that he is a lowly human being with no moral compass.

They don't back any of there products or accept returns in case of product dysfunction. I bought a Baraska red dot sight the staff recommended to me. It broke before I even fired a shot. I brought it back to the store expecting they take the sight back and replace it or give me store credit. They refused and told me I had to send it back to the manufacture for warranty. I was shocked that they would sell me something and not stand behind their product at all. If they don't have any faith in the brand or product why sell it? I could have bought it online for probably less money but wanted someone's advice and somewhere I could expect service. I was totally disappointed in them. Other then that the service was good and the staff was friendly but if they are not willing to service the customer then why pay retail prices and make the drive when you could get the same service and buy online. And most online stores would probably take the return.

This place is AMAZING! First time there today. Not only friendly and helpful , but actually had the firearm I wanted.( not commom and rare.) Not the typical trade in 3 year old guns everybody else has in the glass. Ammo priced really well. I was in and out in 20 minutes from walking in to backround to leaving. This is my new gun shop PERIOD.

There must be some personal BS going on with these reviews. I have been going to this shop for a couple years now and have never had a bad experience. Yes the lady cashier has a nice rack but i'm not going to be asking her gun related questions. I have never personally met Matt the owner but have asked him random questions through out the years and he has always tried to help me and has never talked down to me in any way.
As the review...Most of the time the place is packed and for good reason. They have a very good selection of tactical guns and the handgun selection is the largest within 50 miles. My wife, father, son and myself have purchased over a dozen guns from them, countless accessory's, ammo and never had a problem.
Last week I was attempting a custom trigger job on my rugger 556 and Matt had the parts i needed and advise to get the job done quick and inexpensive...This is a very good gun store and don't believe this BS people are posting.

Worst gun store in the state! The owner is a complete jerk that ignores every customer unless they do something he doesn't like! Typical roider with big upper body and skinny legs! The staff is clueless and some young girl works there that knows NOTHING excpet how to show off her rack! Better prices at Sportsman's Warehouse and much friendlier staff. These people are as rude as they come and as clueless as well! Stay away from here!
