Nelson Homes

Back in 2006 I selected Nelson Homes as my builder. I provided them with the design I wanted, a cape cod with a garage and basement. They did excellent work and were done in under 5 months. They have a great team in place that are incredibly knowledgeable and service oriented. I'm still enjoying living in the house today and would recommend Nelson Homes to anyone.

Nelson Homes, now doing business as Pro Tech Builders, were outstanding to work with. Mike Guess was in regular contact on our project and worked very hard on our behalf. I would highly recommend Pro Tech to anyone looking to build with a modular home.

We had a great experience with Nelson Homes and appreciated their attentiveness from beginning to end and after. We never bought a home like this and had a lot of questions. They were very patient and when things popped up they communicated so we understood and didn't stress out. It was pretty close to their estimate of when it would be built and they told us ahead of time. A few months after we moved in Rob Rutherford, the owner, called to see how things were going and wanted to make sure we were happy. Only once did we leave a message did they take two days to get back to us but all the other times they were prompt. Overall a great experience and we have referred them to others already. -

We chose Nelson Homes to build our house in the fall of 2007. They were very helpful in walking us through the process of choosing the types of materials and color options that suited us best. They also went above and beyond by helping us make structural design changes such as expanding and converting the master walk in closet into a nursery and adding his and hers corner closets to the master bedroom. We encountered a few unanticipated challenges when building our house and each time Nelson Homes found a solution so that we could continue with construction. They completed the house on Valentine’s Day 2008, three months before our first child was born. Since then we have added three children to our family and we are thrilled to have a comfortable space to accommodate our growing family.

I made multiple phone calls and emails to gain information from them about building a HandCrafted modular home. Their sales representative Ritch Hogg, assured me he would email and/or fax me pricing and building information multiple times yet I never received anything. I made one last phone call to the owner Rob Rutherford and still never received any information. At least I found out how they run their business before I gave them any of my money!
