Transmission work is a specialized job and one that Texas Best Transmissions has done expertly and with the final cost of work done to be less than I ever expected. What a huge relief it was for me to know my vehicle was completely and correctly repaired and returned to me cleaned and in a time efficient manner with a better price than expected. The shop's atmosphere was positive with clean and organized surroundings to boot! Thank you Robert for the expert work and honesty you extended to me and my wife.

This guy Robert took care of my baby; Becky my 1955 Chevy Truck with a LS1 Engine swap and 4l60e trans. Robert rebuilt and upgraded my 4l60e trans and immediately I could tell the difference (Remarkable). The best thing is, this guy's prices are very affordable when compared with other transmission shops. Robert's the Best!

I had my transmission rebuilt at another shop about 2 years and 60,000 miles ago and after occasional issues during hot weather, my transmission failed. The other shop said too many miles on my car, my regular mechanic advised again a used automatic. I found Texas Best Transmission online. The owner seemed very knowledgeable about some of the issues with Honda automatics and uses a shift kit to specifically address those problems.

I had my car towed down on a Monday morning. He called later that day and said it needed a rebuild and would be ready Friday. I went down on Wednesday that week while I was in the area and Robert (the owner) already had my transmission torn down and the case being cleaned. He said he hadn't found anything wrong with the rebuild other than he isn't a fan of the Honda clutch packs. He calls Friday and my car is done. Turns out the other shop left plastic in the cooling lines which kept the cooler from working.

Every shift is consistent and crisp now.

The best transmission shop in town!! Robert Clark was honest and extremely nice. His wife Karen runs the office and she was as sweet as could be. Thank you so much for such great workmanship. I look forward to referring this company to everyone I know.
