The Superman ride is the ultimate of all ""free fall"" type rides lanching you straight up in the air then dropping you multiple times. The Titan is monster coaster that drops you down a huge hill. The Mr. Freeze lauches you 0-70mph down a crazy roller coaster with a freeze on a vertical ramp.....then you do it backwards (my favorite). I've been to Six Flags Fiesta and Over Georgia and I think this was a great p... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse

- General Info:
- Six Flags Over Texas, the original Six Flags, is part of a chain of amusement parks located throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe. There are 40 parks run by Six Flags, 24 of which carry the Six Flags name. The first Six Flags amusement park was built between the cities of Fort Worth and Dallas at Arlington, Texas. The park took its name from the six flags that have flown over the state of Texas during its history, including Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the United States and the Confederate States of America. The Six Flags chain began in 1961 with the creation of Six Flags Over Texas. In the beginning, this park featured a Native American village, gondola ride, railroad, Wild West shows, stagecoach ride, and Skull Island , a pirate-themed adventure attraction. Over time, roller coasters, swing rides, log flumes, observation tower and shoot-the-chute rides would replace some of these attractions. Six Flags Theme Parks is headquartered in Oklahoma City.

It is THE ABSOLUTE BEST theme park I have ever been to. It is great if you're on a date, by yourself, or with the family. It is a non-smoking place, but they have places where you can smoke(designated ares). The rides are great!I love the Titan, Mr.Freeze, the Batman, and, the new ride, Tony Hawk's Big Spin! The food taste good. Some of the lines are long depending on which day you go, but you can get a Flash Pass so... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
Six Flags over Texas in Arlington is great. The rides are better. I never get tired of ""The Batman"" or ""Mr. Freeze"". The best ride in the park is the ""Titan"".\r \r There are downsides, though. The lines are terrible. I've had to wait two and a half hours just to ride ""Superman"". It was worth the wait, though. The heat alone is reason not to go. The best time to go is in the middle of the week or on an over-... view moreWas this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
The original Six Flags has a lot to offer. It's a great trip for the whole family. Be careful on the river ride because you will get wet (plan to do that one last). The food was over priced and basic, but you come here for the rides. The roller coasters are great, but the lines are too long. Was this review helpful?Yes No|Flag Abuse
