Park Plaza Animal Clinic

I have been going to this clinic since 1979 and they have always given excellent care. All the staff members are very kind and compassionate with animals AND people, and they take time to address all issues, to give any care that is needed.

Dr Ross-Stephens has impressed me from the first visit, when she joined the practice in 1992, I believe, as being above average in intelligence and ability to diagnose and treat cats and dogs. She's also very kind and personable and makes me feel welcome at every visit.
Another good point is, she will let you know how much services will cost beforehand, and will work with you on deciding what to do.
I reccommend this clinic to everyone I know who has pets, and have taken probably 30 or more foster pets there as well as my own, so I have a lot of experience with them.

Park Plaza Animal Clinic has one of the best veterinarians in the area, Dr. D'Anne Ross-Stephens.
She has remarkable abilities in diagnostics, treatment and surgery, and is also kind and compassionate.

The staff is friendly and helpful.
It is obvious that they truly care about pets and owners. I highly recommend this vet to anyone who wants the best medical care for their special pet.

When you see it from the street, you think it is a small, old clinic. Well, it is. , BUT when you walk in it feels like you are in your living room at home, it smells great, (NOT like other clinics with animal odors) and is very warm and comfortable. Shirley greets you with a smile, and has a great personality and is always laughing. Sometimes there is a wait, but it is well worth it because of the time they spend with you and your animal. Dr. Stephens explains EVERYTHING and I never have a question when I leave. We have just recently started seeing them this year, and we love it.

When we were looking for a Vet to take our new puppy for shots,we called around and found Park Plaza Animal Clinic to be the best value,with their puppy package. I was impressed with Dr.Stephens and her staff on the very first visit. In less than two weeks after that first visit we found out that we got way more. If it was not for Dr. stephens and staff, I beleive in my heart that our baby would not still be alive! What we got was an unselfish,caring,loving Vet, that puts the animals best interest first!

We had been using another clinic in Cedar Hill for years. My dog was having problems with his weight, skin and hair. The clinic in Cedar Hill told me that he was just getting old. I wasn't satisfied and took the advice from a friend and brought him to Park Plaza Animal Clinic. Dr. Stephens found that he had a thyroid problem and was able to fix the problem with proper medication. He now looks great, his hair and skin look amazing. We've been continueing to take him to Park Plaza since then for all of his checkups.

We've rececently discovered another problem in which he had to undergo surgery. Dr. Stephens was able to complete the operation successfully. The entire staff took very good care of him during his stay. They care so much for all the animals.

Dr. Stephens is a wonderful veterinarian who gives so much of herself to her patients. We drive 22 miles one way to see her and will continue. She treats our animals with such great care. It's worth the drive to have the proper care.

The business doesn't look like much, but they perform miracles there. My dog Jake has epilepsy, which they have been treating. He got pancreatis last year that nearly killed him. They cured it. They would even let me come in and sit in his cage all hours of the day to comfort him. My other dog Lucy, recently had a liver problem. Her eyes were jaundiced and she nearly died. Apparently, she had eaten something toxic. With their care and knowledge she's doing just fine now.
I can't sing their praises enough. From the vet, Dr. D'Anne Stephens to the receptionist Shirley, to Bill, George, Aldo and the other staff, they do everything in their power to help pets. Not just the pets either. They help the people that are so worried about losing their best friend.

Dr. Stephens and her staff are the best! I have been a customer since 2007/08 and have never had any problems with her or her staff in any way. They do not charge you for unnecessary tests etc. The doctor has been very consoling when I have had to put my babies to sleep when there was nothing else that could be done, she has also been great when the prognosis went from poor to good being joyful with me. My babies have always been treated as if they are there own pets.
On my most recent visit, my dog was found to have Pancreatitis, her prognosis was very poor, she was there for almost 2 weeks, I thought I was going to lose her, the doctor went out of her way, taking her home with her to make sure she was getting the liquids that she needed. If it wasn’t for her and her staff going over and beyond, I would of lost her. My dog got the best care and I feel very strongly, that if I had gone anywhere else, she would of died. I am so grateful for Dr. Stephens and her staff for all that they did for my little girl.

lMy daughter 's puppy was sick we took her took her to PARK PlAZA ANIMAL HOSPITALThey took her to back and when she came back her leg was hurt .We were told was probably from fluids giveing to her.CalledHRS LATER,Called next day same answer.Day 3 wenT UP THERE.They took her to back and few mins later asked us back.The vet said her leg was broke followed by if you think we did it we can part ways.Then she replied "Your not going to pin this on me ,I wasn't even in room When they did xrays"then left building.We asked for two sets were taken we believe second set is when this accured.We were refused both sets.Then we asked about refund for puppy shots that were pre-paid they refused to give her shots or refund her.Upon going to our regular vet we were told we are not first to walk in with injured animal from there .Becareful where you take your animals best price isn't always better.They are very nice until you have issue then they become extremely childish and unprofessional.

I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there. They told me dog had parvo when in fact he didnot. If my dog had parvo he wouldnt be back to normal after i ended up nursing him back to health thanks to a good friend. And plus we never even saw the vet just her assistant. Not good!!!

Dr. Stephens and her staff are wonderful. We took a feral kitten to her office. The 4-month-old kitten had a foot infection that caused the top of the foot to explode from the pus. Dr. Stephens treated the kitten, sent medication home with us, and went above and beyond in helping to care for the kitten. Another vet's office had turned us away. Instead of a loving sweet kitten dying, the kitten is healthy and will be going to a new home when it heals because of Dr. Stephens and her staff. Kudos to the doctor and her staff for their care and concern for animals. I have been using another vet but will be transfering my three cats care to Dr. Stephens.

Dr. Stephens and her whole staff is AWESOME!!!! I have been taking my pets to her for at least 13-15yrs. My sister had referred me to Park Row Animal Clinic when Dr. Stephens and I believe the other Dr.'s name was Dr. Johnson was there. I had a dog that had been hit 2 times on Park Row and the Animal Control Guy that showed up told me it would be best if I put him down due to the extensive injuries he had... my sister said no-way... take him to Park Row Animal Clinic (she had been taking her cats there for a few years prior to this incident). Well unless there is an absolute emergency & I can't reach Dr. Stephens, I won't take my animals to anyone else. They have cared for my babies since they were old enough to leave their momma's. I have 2 dogs now & they get so excited when it's time for their regular check-ups and shots, they love going to see everyone. Dr. Stephens is very honest and affordable. You always know what to expect as far as cost, and if you check around you will find she usually has lower cost than most other Clinics. She & I have been through a lot of serious medical issues with my pets, and I was not easy to deal with, but she always returned my calls or had someone call me with whatever information I was needing. She has incredible bedside manner with all of the animals (not just mine). She treats them as if they were her own and there is a lot to be said about that, you can tell that she loves what she does and you can also see that with everyone that works there. I highly recommend her to each and everyone of you that are looking for the best care you can get for your pet's. I have never had a negative experience with anyone in that clinic, and they all are very loving & gentle with my dogs. I consider them my family, You will not be disappointed. If Dr. Stephens was to ever relocate, you can be sure I will go the distance to continue having her care for my pet's. She and her staff go above and beyond. I will say that sometimes you will find her running a lil behind schedule so you may have a small wait period past your scheduled appointment. She doesn't rush in and rush out, she actually takes the time to hear your concerns and answer any questions you may have. She is worth the wait (it's always a reasonable time frame). Just go check her & her staff out... you will be impressed!

Dr. Stephens and the team are fantastic! I took my elderly bulldog in today for some dental work. Dr. Stephens called to let me know what was going on and how Rocko was doing. The staff called promptly and let me know Rocko was out of surgery and awake and doing well. The team understood my concerns of an elderly dog being under anesthesia and their experience with English Bulldogs is the main reason I trusted them. Excellent job! I would recommend Dr. Stephens to any bulldog owners!

I have had many dogs, cats and horses throughout my life, and obviously dealt with many veterinarians. Dr. D'Anne Stephens and staff at Park Plaza animal Clinic are the very best. I now live in Denton and still refuse to switch my vet care to another doctor. Everyone on staff is kind and caring and helps me with whatever issues I have at the time. I have been through having to put a cat to sleep due to illness, to a dog bite. These folks are professional and caring. Dr. Stephens and staff have helped us to have healthy pets by always going the extra mile. I cannot thank them all enough for their wonderful care. They go the extra mile to help.

Two thumbs up!!. Dr. Stephens is AMAZING as well as the staff. I have never met a veterinarian as compassionated and humble as Dr. Stephens. I have a sheltie and my dog loved her. Since the moment you enter the clinic you can feel they really love animals. Extremely clean facilities and very affordable prices. Dr. Stephens is the best in town. No doubt!

Dr. Stephens and her staff are exceptional at what they do. They always take the extra time and effort to make every experience a good one. I drive from Flower Mound to see her and they make the drive worth it. I wouldn't trust my dog or cat to anyone else. Dr. Stephens' bedside manner is so sweet and caring that she makes you feel she is treating her own pet while yours is there on the table. I would recommend her to anyone. I've used this clinic since 1980 and have know Dr. Ross-Stephenson since her internship there with Dr. Johnson. She and her staff have the utmost respect and love for the customers and thier owners. She and her staff go out of their way to explain procedures and costs. She and her staff have the biggest hearts during the most difficult of times. For as long as I have pets I will always make it point use this clinic.

I've been to several Vet's in my life and every since I found this place that was highly recommended from a friend, I've never attempt or wanted to go anywhere else. It's like a second family. They take care of all my pets including the neighbors��� and foster pets. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are fair and aren't based off the building they occupy. Dr. Ross tells you everything you need to know and the truth. She will do as much as possible to save a pet but sometimes age is the factor.

Park Plaza Animal Clinic is a wonderful place to take your pets. You can trust that your pets are being treated as if they were there own personal pets. Dr. Stephens takes the time to communicate to each client and spends quality time with your pet. All the staff members are just as kind and caring and take a little extra time when needed to help care for your pet.
