The location can be a little tough to get to because it's a high traffic area, but it's worth it. I definitely suggest going earlier in the day, since Collins Park is really popular in the immediate community. If you go later in the day or on a weekend, expect long lines at the dressing room (only 3 items at a time,) and at the counters. Even though there are usually two ladies checking out customers, regulars usually have their carts filled to the brim. Great spot for ladies' clothing, especially. Their knicknack section isn't big compared to other thrift stores in Arlington.
I'm very grateful for this store and I hope and pray that everyone will come down and support this store whether at the store or on line donating. They have no employees just volunteers, and all the proceeds indeed benefit our men and women in uniform. So come on all and lets give all me can to help this business, and in return they will be helping those who protect our country.
This store all proceeds go to DISPLACED VETERANS. There is no paid employees, everyone is a volinteer. They could use anyone who would like to help a Fantastic cause. Go by and check it out you will be glad you did. While on your way take something you may not need and donate it, if nothing else drop by with a cash donation. You will be glad you did. Oh! WHAT A FEELING !!!!!!!!!
