I HAD ALREADY SHOPPED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND I GOT A LETTER IN THE MAIL FROM TONY QUINTERO I FELT LIKE HE LISTENED TO MY SITUATION AND ACTED LIKE HE WOULD UNDERSTAND MY NEEDS BETTER . I WENT BY TO VISIT HIM AND I WAS RIGHT . IT WAS A GOOD CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE WITHOUT THE TYPICAL STRESS FROM PREVIOUS CAR PURCHASES. Truck was barely running at startup after I had replaced the distributor cap, rotor cap, spark plugs and a couple of vacuum hoses. I could not figure out what it was. They said they would do a diagnostics for around $80 dollars and if there was repairs to be done they would lower the cost of the diagnostic down to $45. They called me back and said they had found the problem and it was a plug to one of the sensors would not seat as it had a piece of broken off plastic in the connection. They also replaced a vacuum line. I would have never found it. They did not have the part to replace the connector so they showed me what needed fixed and only charged me $45 for the diagnostics and the repair.
Great Mecahnic - good people !! Brought my 2006 avalance to Gary the check engine light had been on for months. I had brought to my previous mechanic who could not figure it out. I had it in the shop (with the previous mechanic) three different times and he finally said after doing a few things that he could figure it out - I spent over $600.00 and made no progress. Had spoken with Gary brought it in - he had it diagnosed in less than two minutes - the other guy does not have the diaagnostic stuff Gary has. Gave me an idea what we where looking at - I said fix it was done in less than 2 days and it has run great since no issues. Great mechanic - go see them if you need help !
