Arkansas City Chamber-Commerce

Dear Arkansas City Chamber of Commerce, in the past, I have left ideas on how to improve our Arkalalah celebration. So far, I've never even received a phone call. I'll try again! I've talked with many people, conducting a rather "unscientific" method. Common ideas always seem to pop up. So far, the People would like to see a Pumpkin painting contest come back (with prizes). Also, there has been a large interest in an adult Costume Ball, complete with music, decorations, food and drink with prizes for "the Best Witch, Pirate, etc... In my experience, the people of Arkansas City are "starving" for entertainment. Just look at the turnout for the Car Show and for the Parade! We have a lot for our children but we seem to have forgotten about the adults! We are still children at heart anyway. Perhaps (if you don't believe me) a poll could be conducted either on-line, the newspaper or both. Thank you for your time and please consider this. Catherine
