Arcade & Attica Railroad, established in 1917, operates scheduled passenger excursions throughout the year. The regularly scheduled passenger excursions are powered with its 1920 steam locomotive, and the special events are pulled by a 1947 65-ton General Electric center-cab diesel locomotive. The company hauls freight along a more than 15-mile right-of-way, in addition to over 7-miles of passenger excursions. It is governed by a corporate board of directors and several stockholders. Arcade & Attica Railroad s special events include Easter bunny run, Father's Day trains, grandparent's express, children's trains, murder mystery dinner trains, fall foliage runs, Halloween haunted house, and Santa Claus trains.
