Good food, quirky ambience

Food is consistently good. Sauces and ingredients are fresh, well balanced and flavorful. A family business that is all together quirky, tacky, and homey. The owners live there with their rather large family. Mom uses a good portion of the bar to do bills and business books. The bar looks a bit like a messy desk on one end with stacks of envelopes, pens, a phone, some personal items, and empty glasses. Dad���s often there in the evening drinking wine. The young children are at the bar every night, as it serves as their living room where they watch TV, eat, and snub the patrons. If you���re eating there during winter months, be sure to bring a warm jacket and hat. You���ll want to wear them as you eat. The building has no central heat, only a fireplace that heats an area of 10ft. So no matter when you���re eating there, it���s freezing. Dingy, quirky, cluttered, oddly homey, you���ll either appreciate its uniqueness or hate it with a passion.
