The parent company is a rehabilitation and resource center that helps to improve the lives of children and adults with health barriers. It specializes in rehabilitation services after brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes, chronic pain, autism and physical disabilities. Founded in 1928, Courage Center is a nonprofit organization that serves through thousands of volunteers and donors. The parent company offers a variety of rehabilitation therapies and inpatient transitional rehabilitation services. It also provides pain management and vocational and community-based services, as well as sports and recreation programs. Courage Center is accredited by The Joint Commission as a rehabilitation facility.
