I have taken yoga classes on and off in Ann Arbor for several years. This yoga class is by far the best. Michelle's fun and accepting approach to yoga is a life saver. It is clear from the very start that Michelle is a real teacher. I appreciate Michelle's ability to accommodate a variety of levels from beginner to advanced. I have been studying with her for a year, taking two classes a week, and having a fuller sized body I can tell you I have never felt more understood by a yoga community. I think she excels at being able to challenge us to work hard while encouraging self-acceptance and personal growth. I have received more personal attention in Michelle's classes than I've ever had before and that has made such a big difference in my ability to progress.

If you have tried a lot of yoga and perhaps still feel like it isn't for you, do give this yoga a try. It is unlike anything else in the area and that's because it's so in-tune with the traditional roots of yoga and how it is taught. Traditional yoga is passed down from teacher to their student, certain advanced practices remaining secret throughout the ages. Ema just so happens to be a teacher who still holds this knowledge and it shows after even just one of her classes.
