I have been taking my shoes to "The Shoe Lady" (I should call her "The Shoe Queen!*) at Town Cobbler for more than 25 years. On more than one occasion I've gone running to her with a favorite pair of heels that were ruined for one reason or another. One time it was a pair that my dog had chewed up. I was heartbroken! She looked at them and shook her head. She made no promises as I stood there and begged her to "help me!", but when I picked them up the following week, you could barely tell they'd been mauled! Unfortunately for me, that dog chewed several more pair and she fixed them *all*. She has mended countless heels, replaced many soles, shortened and lengthened straps, made repair suggestions, provided advice, and demonstrated products. She scolds me when I don't take care of my footwear, but I know it's because she takes pride in what she does. After several years of replacing unevenly worn heels, she proclaimed that my left leg was a wee bit shorter than my right and by goodness -- she was right! She outfitted me with a thingie to put inside my boot and I never had the problem again! How many people would take the time to figure that out for you? -- not many. In addition to taking care of my extensive shoe collection, she has also mended leather handbags. The bottom line is -- I have been relying on her for more than 25 years I hope she will always be there for me. I have recommended her to countless friends and will continue to do so. Thank you!!!
They repaired my black leather boots to perfection. I was amazed at the results. I thought nothing could be done because the soles were worn and the heels were peeling. Really amazing. I literally have a new pair of boots. Thanks!
I drove from BG Ohio and the town cobbler had everything i needed. The personnel was friendly, and the store has lots of inventory. I found the show stretcher i was looking for. Thanks a bundle
