Mimi's Bridal Boutique

We came looking for our bridesmaid dresses for the wedding. We were followed and watched around the entire store and then promptly escorted out and down the stairs, literally. The dress selection was minimal and they take months to order regardless. Would not recommend.

My fiancee came home crying after an appointment at Mimi's Bridal Boutique. From the moment she walked in, they were unprofessional, fully lacking empathy, and incredibly pushy. Multiple times throughout the process, she was presented with a preliminary contract. which she was ordered to sign guaranteeing a deposit before ever discussing anything. My fiancee flat out told the attendant how unprofessional her behavior was and how uncomfortable she felt and ended up leaving distraught and in tears. As she was leaving, she could see the girl with an appointment after her was already wearing the dress she had just tried on (idiotic salesmanship more than anything).



Bottom line, this is the antithesis of how wedding dress shopping should be -- STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO NOT go here unless you want to be pressured into stepping thousands of dollars prematurely.

The staff at Mimi's bridal was polite and personable. They enjoyed getting to know me as a bride, and offered useful suggestions when trying on their amazing selection of dresses. They had many types of dresses from classic to modern and fun. While they offered expensive as well as inexpensive gowns, none were cheaply made or designed. I visited almost every bridal shop in the metro Detroit area, and Mimi's bridal was the absolute best. I enjoyed buying a beautiful dress from them!

This is a wonderful bridal store. They have an excellent selection of dresses. They have extreme prices ranging high and low.
