        The Ann Arbor Township Fire Department is responsible for protecting the life and property of the residents and visitors of Ann Arbor Charter Township in Michigan. It provides fire suppression, first response and basic life support medical services. The department specializes in technical rescue, including vehicle extrication, and trench, confined space, ice water, swift water, high-angle and elevator rescue services. Additionally, the Ann Arbor Township Fire Department offers hazardous material incident mitigation, K-9 search and rescue and fire safety education services. It operates out of two stations and maintains a fleet of fire equipment, such as aerial ladder trucks, engines, tankers, rescue and brush trucks, and special response trucks and trailers.
