Phillips Tree Service

Phillips did our tree cutting and I fully recommend them. Did a great job, cleaned up after debree and showed up on the day and time promised. Nice to deal with loyal businesses.

We had 8 big oak trees in the yard that needed to be trimmed and have their canopy raised so that we could install landscaping. There was also a large sweetgum that I wanted removed. It had to be taken down in pieces. We interviewed and got estimates from 4 companies. Phillips wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. What they were was totally reasonable. Lanny listened, looked at our trees and discussed our options. He told us it might be 2-3 weeks before our job could be fit into the schedule and it turned out to be only one and a half weeks. They started at 8:30 and worked through until 3:00. The crew was exceptionally nice and competent and asked if each tree was done satisfactorily before they went on to the next. They left our yard and driveway cleaner than it was when they came! I would recommend them with no hesitation to anyone. We will be using them for for any further tree work we might need done.

This is a first class company with an owner who is totally trustworthy, doesn't promise more than he can deliver and hires trustworthy, knowledgeable help. It was a pleasure to have them on our property!

We had a tree that might fall at any time and cause damage to our house and fence. Lanny with Phillips Tree Service is great to deal with. He even spotted another tree that was dead that we had not noticed. He gave us a very reasonable quote. He was honest and said he was not sure when he could work us into his schedule (very busy due to amounts of rainfall), but he would get to us as soon as possible. Other quotes were higher and gave the same timeline for job completion.



He got to the tree in a reasonable time and did an excellent job! I was out of town and would not have even known they had done the job (it was so clean) if he had not told me. It was done so well, we did not have to grind the stump. He also took down a river birch in a friend's yard and ground their stump; he did a fantastic job on their tree as well.



I would totally recommend him for any job!

This is a great company. Had a huge rotten tree, showed up on time, great estimate, showed up with professional crew several days later and took tree down, hauled waste off, raked and blew off debris.



Lanny is a great person to deal with and a company that does what they say they will do.



Would recommend to anyone for tree service.
