I recently visited Ross' in Anderson. I liked the selection of dresses and shoes. It would have been nice if the shoes were a bit more organized. But they had good deals on some expensive brand name items. I found the perfect dress to wear to my brother's wedding for only $15.99. I found the perfect shoes, unfortunately, not in my size (7). My mom, who is a plus size, also found the perfect outfit for the wedding as well. She was relived that it didn't have huge flowers on it that made her look like she was wearing a Hawaiian muumuu (which is common in plus size clothing for some weird reason). We even recommended this store to my soon-to-be-sister-in-law for bridesmaids dresses on the cheap. I will definately return when I need to update my wardrobe.
The worst thing about this store is that it's too easy to find deals and you can certainly impulse buy... which I have a few times. They have a huge dress section. Also a lot of Misses separates. Juniors and Plus are also pretty good as is the kid's section, the men's is a little sparse. But overall, a great store. Friendly employees too.
Sure, everything is a dollar and they have a lot of merchandise, but they never seem to have enough help. I stood in line for 20 minutes one day. It seems that there was only one cashier. The manager was in no mood to help the poor girl either. Something else they don't have enough of is A/C. It's so hot in there I can barely stand it.
