I was really not sure where I should go to get my second tattoo but ultimately decided on Painted Pony. I went in and was promptly greeted by two friendly guys. I had a picture of what I wanted and they made a stencil immediately. Within 5 minutes I was being prepped for the tattoo. I made sure to pay attention and make sure everything came out of sealed packages and it did. The price was about what I was expecting. I'm only slightly unhappy with my tattoo. There's two reasons why I didn't give five stars; I felt that toward the end the artist didn't get the color as saturated as he did in the beginning. He assured me he had but once it was healed, I was right, it needs to be touched up. The second reason is I felt the shop could have used a good sweeping and mopping. Not that it was dirty, but more dusty than anything. I've not decided whether I will go back for my third tattoo. I think I'll have the touch up done and make my choice from there.
Hello all, This is Randal Falcone one of the artist here @ Painted Pony Tattoos, I am posting this remark on behalf of diamonddoll028's post below. First of all, this has never occurred, I do believe this is someone's (perhaps another artist, or artist wife's) attempt to attack my clientele or over all business. I have an extensive client list on Facebook, Instagram, And Twitter. I have been Tattooing for over 4 years and have never had an issue such as this. I appreciate all my fan's support and am intrigued as to why this lie has been posted. Thanks for your time. Randal K. Falcone, Painted Pony Tattoos.
I love this place, I have been to three other places and Painted Pony beats them all by far. I will warn you though it can be very addictive. I have gotten 4 of my six tattoos there by two different artist over the past 4 years. My favorite artist is Big John he has over 20 years of experience, Everyone there is nice and helpful and I would never consider going any place else. The price is affordable and the work far and exceeds your expectations. They have even stayed late for me to get it done. They have always gone above and beyond. I give them two thumbs up!
I had my tattoo done by a guy named Mac who is no longer there because he moved but I had the best experience there for my first tattoo. My tattoo is exactly where I wanted it and was fairly priced at $250 for its size, which is NOT small at all (about the size of an 8x10 picture) and ALL color. They definitely have innovative artists who know what they are doing. The atmosphere is great also. The staff is a whoot and treat you like family. Overall I will definitely be going back for another tattoo when I have some extra money.
Nice shop, great artist but my only complaint is a few weeks ago my wife and I went there for her first tattoo. While we were waiting, the guy behind the counter rudely told her she needed to get over there and do paperwork. That irritated me a little bit but I let it go. Then she ask if they took debit cards and he pointed at the atm and said over there. I don't speak to my wife that way and neither is someone else. This is a great place to get tattoo but not for service. Go see Keith, but everyone there is awesome.
i personally gave these guys five stars. everyone that leaves this shop is totally satified with the art work, there respectable mannerable very professional in there work and actions. i have a full sleeve an other art on my body from these guys. the quality is the best hands down across the state ive seen other work but nothing like these guys. so hit em up if tattoos are your thing or just looking to experiance a once in a lifetime tattoo. remember if your gonna do it do it right and DRIFT ON!
Karen is currently working on a full back piece for me. And It is beautiful work!!! All I have to do is call her with an idea and within a couple of hours she has it drawn up and ready to go. And the other artist there (Jimbo, Keith and Trent) I would trust any of those guys to put ink on me. They all are very talented at what they do!!! If you are considering a tattoo remember that it is permanent, but also consider letting the artist at The Painted Pony do it for you!!!
I went to Blvd tattoo for my first tattoo. It was a special one to me because it was a "in memory of" thing for me. The shop was clean and everyone was friendly. Patrick did the artwork for me. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I have gotten so many compliments on it. It has words written in cursive and he did an amazing job. The detailing is fantastic. If you want a great experience, go see these awesome artists! ! I will be going back soon. Kristy
blvd tattoo has provided me with exceptional work! josh lindley is an amazing tattooer and has made me feel more at home with every visit. friendly and talented staff, convenient and comfortable waiting area and, of course, VERY clean shop!! love all the guys, no overly egotistical artists in this shop!! they get my "#1" vote ANY day. basically, you're an idiot to go anywhere else. thanks!
