I am 5 weeks pregnant. I bought a 2002 chevy Silverado from Kanuri after explaining to them I needed a good truck for the winter. I drove it home and after 9 days my truck tire popped on the freeway. I had it fixed and that same day I almost died by my truck slamming on its brakes while I was going 55 miles a hour. Luckily I was with my friend who had to MANUALLY UNLOCK THE BRAKES. I didn't think any of it and drove 20 miles a hour home. 3 times this happened. When I got it home I called dependable immediately and they were quick to get it towed to knik tire. Knik called a couple days later to let me know the differential broke and it caused the tire to pop then when the car landed on the ground it busted the tranny so now it won't go out of first and second gear. I called dependable and they agreed to pay for all of it. Thought everything was fine. Then knik tire called to let me know the manager at dependable auto that was handling any of this quit. I called kanuri and he said he would handle this and was wondering if I would go out to dinner with him because of the "stress I was under" I told him I was pregnant and he said "if we would have had a kid it would have been beautiful" I ignored that comment because I wanted to keep the peace. But later that day I called and he told me the boss won't pay for the truck to be fixed and I would just get my loan rewound and we need to "part ways" I agreed. I was so angry. Then the next day they let me know they are not giving my 1000$ back and they will be using it as a "rental" charge. And if I would like to stay with their dealership for a car they will use the 1000$ towards another vehicle but THEY HAVE NO VEHICLES IN STOCK FOR MY PRICE RANGE! But they need my rental car by 6 tonight. I then went to Brians Reliable Auto and got into a 2008 charger for the same price range and they got me approved through the same loan company and now I am happy. But I will never get that 1000$ back from Dependable. They suck!
