Children’s World Bilingual Montessori has my heart. It balances the Montessori Method with a nurturing spirit. My daughter is happy and eager to see her friends, she learns Spanish and other amazing things, but more than that, she learn to be a wonderful person – grace, courtesy, kindness, love, friendship – those are important pieces of life to me.

All the teachers and also the office staff are wonderful people who bring their own gifts. I trust them with my daughter because they love her and guide her in a truly meaningful way.

I could not ask for a better Montessori environment. I am continually astounded by the level of reading, writing, math, and creativity I see the children at CWBM demonstrating. The fact that they have accomplished so much at such a young age while being so engaged and loving everything about what they are doing is remarkable.

I looked at a large number of Montessori programs in Anchorage and I could not be happier with the choice I ended up making. From the moment we toured this school, it was clear that this is a truly special place.

Very Happy with Children's World

My daughter has been attending Children's World since she was 2 yrs in the part time program. She just turned 5. We have always been impressed with the way the work with our daughter. The teachers are extremely loving with my daughter. It has really been a good experience for us! My only complaint has been with the billing side. If you choose to do extra hours like we do you either need to work out a set amount you pay with them or be very diligent about tracking as they are not very good about being able to prove extra charges in a business like manner. As far as the care our daughter receives it is by far one of the better programs out there and would recommend them to anyone! Our daughter was very shy when she started and is extremely outgoing and friendly with other children now! I give a lot of credit for this to the wonderful teachers at Children's World!

Children's World has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She has been at the school since she was 18 months, she is now 6. At, Children's World, all of the staff are phenomenal, they offer a warm loving learning experience. Not all facilities suite all children and/or all parents. Do the research find what suites your family and your child. And, hopefully you find Children's World to be that place. I can't say enough great things about them.

I am a parent of two children currently attending CWBM (4.5 and 17 months). As a parent I find it is my responsibility to fully evaluate any school prior to sending my children to attend. I have observed several Day Care/Pre-Schools in the Eagle River/Anchorage areas and have found CWBM to be the best. I am surprised by the reviews I read here on YP. I urge you to go to the school and observe the classroom for your child’s age group. Personally speak with the administration prior to forming an opinion on reviews listed here in the YP. Also ask yourself, when do people write reviews, are they motivated to write a review when they are happy and satisfied or when they are disgruntled? CWBM has loved and cared for both of my children responding to my needs and requests immediately working with me in a caring manner, but also challenging me as a parent to think outside of the box. I have a girl (4.5) and a boy (17 months). The other day, my daughter used the bathroom before we went home and asked me to help her, the teacher said, “who is going to help her if you are not here and winked.” She was absolutely right. The school has boundaries and limits that each child must follow while working in a safe environment where they can freely grow and explore. CWBM addresses unacceptable behavior of children immediately and will tell you when your child is sick and should stay home. They address the root of the problem to ensure everyone is safe and healthy. My son pulled hair and they were on top of this issue immediately to ensure we followed up at home and vs. versa. My daughter changed classrooms and did not nap for 4/5 days the following week. I immediately went to speak with Maria and the teachers in the classroom. The issue was immediately addressed, I spoke with my daughter with the teachers and she has napped each day since raising this issue. I am impressed with the responsibility and accountability this school has upheld with my children and with my husband and I as parents. Marsha P. .

My grandson attends this school, and I have frequently volunteered a few mornings a week. It is a wonderful school, with lots of love and support by all of the employees. A

They follow closely the Montessori philosophy, and the materials are kept well organized. As a veteran teacher I give this school the "Two Thumbs Up"

I can not begin to describe how wonderful this program is. My son started at 5 months old and is now in the older toddler program. He was at another program for two months and I nearly cried every day. When we started at CW, I realized I was going to have to keep working just so he could go to school, he loved it so much.

The teachers go above and beyond to make the program what it is. The compassion and dedication is visible throughout every aspect. My son had an emergency and it was handled so calmly, proffessionally, and lovingly.

We have loved this school so m...

We have loved this school so much! We moved to Anchorage at the beginning of the summer, and we enrolled our daughter in their kindergarten class. It is a bright, fun, and structured environment. We love this. It was very important for us to not just have our daughter in a day care, but in a true Montessori program. Also, the big plus, it is bilingual! Surprisingly, our daughter is already picking up a lot of Spanish. We are very happy.
