Champ Martial Arts

I have been training with Master Yu for four years now at Champ Martial Arts. Over the least four years, I have made many improvements in my life, such as my weight, and my attitude problems, as my family and friends can attest to. I hear that question a lot, from family, friends, and teachers. A lot of people think that Tae Kwon Do is all about the kicking and the punching and the sparring. I started Champs thinking the same thing. That idea was gone within the end of the month! I will answer this question, not only for myself, but also for the people who don’t know. The most important thing in Tae Kwon Do is the spirit that comes with training. When I started, I was very overweight, my physical stamina simply did not exist, and I gave up too easily. Master Yu, however, did not let me give up. At first, I was like, “Okay, he likes to push us hard.” Now, though, I understand that Master Yu would not let me sit out because he wanted me to succeed, and I am forever grateful, not only for him having confidence in me, but for helping me grow a strong sense of strong self-confidence.

Champ Martial Arts Instructors are amazing! They are very friendly, caring, and great with kids. My kids used to be very shy. With Champ Martial Arts instructors guidance they are more confident and respectful. We really thank to Champ Martial Arts Instructors!

RUN! This "school" is not legit. Walk into this place and look at how many "Black Belts" they've "promoted". I saw at least 5-10 kids under the age of 8 wearing one, and even heard from a friend that took her son there last year, that they had a 5 year old "Black Belt" that looked like he never trained a day in his life. Plus, they charge outrageous fee's for black belt testing (I heard $295 for 1st Degree), and have testing fees ($40.00) for every belt. Doesn't this "Master" have enough money. This is a business, not a school.........

My wife and I had been looking to find a way to lose weight and get into shape. I had suggested martial arts since I had a positive experience with it in college, albeit brief. Together we decided on Champ Martial Arts, primarily because the scheduling could easily accommodate our busy lifestyles. It has been everything we asked for. We have achieved significant weight loss, become more active in our day to days lives, as well as received a self-esteem boost that we never expected. As adult students, we have felt welcomed and valued almost as family. Champ Martial Arts has been an amazing addition to our lives and one I would recommend to any adult looking for a new hobby, weight loss, or fun new way to get in shape.
