Following in her father’s footsteps, Tami joined the US Air Force and worked as a communications/navigation specialist on both the F4/E and KC/RC-135 aircraft. Tami applied for and was accepted into the competitive US Air Force Physician Assistant Program sponsored by the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she graduated at the top of her class with honors.
